Delphyne Peretto (born February 9, 1982 in Albertville, Savoie) is a former French biathlete. She was on the bronze-winning relay team in the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Peretto retired at the end of the 2007-08 season.

Eberhard Rösch is a former East German biathlete.
Stian Kampenhaug Eckhoff is a former Norwegian biathlete. He has 2 World Cup victories and in the 2004–05 season, Eckhoff placed tenth overall. Since his retirement he has become involved in coaching the Norwegian national biathlon team, and was appointed head coach of the Norwegian women's biathlon programme ahead of the 2014–15 season. He is the brother of fellow biathlete Tiril Eckhoff.

Sergei Ivanovich Bulygin is a former Soviet biathlete. During his career he won an Olympic gold medal as part of the Soviet Union 4 × 7.5 km relay team in the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo and 4 gold medals and a silver at the World Championships.

Patrice Bailly-Salins is a former French biathlete. He won at the 1994 Olympics in Lillehammer a bronze medal with the French relay team. In 1995, he won the world title in the sprint event and came second in the 4 × 7.5 km relay with the French relay team. In 1994, he won the overall World Cup

Vadim Leonidovich Sashurin is a former Soviet and Belarusian biathlete and current coach. In the lead-up to the 2002–03 season, Sashurin was caught using the banned steroid nandrolone. He was initially banned for 15 months, but the ban was extended to 24 months after Sashurin failed to take part in an anti-doping campaign, as mandated by the IBU.

Dmitry Vladimirovich Vasilyev is a former Soviet biathlete. At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Vasilyev won a gold medal with the Soviet relay team, which consisted of himself, Juri Kashkarov, Algimantas Šalna and Sergei Bulygin. He received another gold medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.
Tarjei Bø is a Norwegian professional biathlete. Awarded Olympic gold medals, World Championship gold medals and World Cup victories from 2010 to 2022. Bø debuted in the Biathlon World Cup on 26 March 2009 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. In the 2010 Winter Olympics he earned his first gold medal in the 4 × 7.5 km biathlon relay. On 10 December 2010 he won the World Cup sprint race in Hochfilzen, his first world cup victory. He also won the following pursuit race and anchored the winning relay team. Bø is the older brother of biathlete Johannes Thingnes Bø.
Franziska Preuß is a German biathlete. Preuß started in her first world cup races in the 2013/14-season after winning two medals at the last European Championships, three medals at the Junior World Championships and 3 gold medals at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics. In 2014, she is going to participate in the Winter Olympics in Sochi. She was officially nominated by the DOSB on 23 January 2014.
