Delta Tour Zeeland was a road bicycle stage race held annually in June in Zeeland, Netherlands. In 2008, the race was organized as a 2.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour as the organizers of the one-day race Delta Profronde and of the OZ Wielerweekend operated a fusion to create the stage race. The first winner of the race was the Australian Christopher Sutton and the last was German Marcel Kittel. [1]

Contents

In 2012, it was renamed Ronde van Zeeland Seaports , coming back to its one-day race roots with a 1.1 ranking on the UCI Europe Tour.

Delta Profronde was a single-day road bicycle race held annually in June in Zeeland, Netherlands. In 2005, the race was organized as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour. It was previously known as Ronde van Midden-Zeeland and it was an amateur race between 1959 and 1973. In 2008, the organizers of the Delta Profronde and of the OZ Wielerweekend operated a fusion to create the stage race Delta Tour Zeeland.

The race was created in 2012, as a 1.1 race on the UCI Europe Tour, after financial issues curtailed the Delta Tour Zeeland stage-race, which had been held since 2008. The first race was won by South African rider Reinardt Janse van Rensburg of the MTN–Qhubeka team.

Tacx Pro Classic is a professional road bicycle race in the Netherlands. The event is part of the UCI Europe Tour calendar of events with a ranking of 1.1. While considered a new event, it can be seen as a successor to the Delta Tour Zeeland and Ronde van Zeeland Seaports.
