Musikhuset Aarhus was designed by Kjær & Richter and built in 1979-1982, commissioned by Aarhus Municipality.

The Aarhus Girls' Choir is an organized group of young female singers based in Aarhus, Denmark. The choir, which has up to 35 members aged between 16 and 23, is currently under the direction of Helle Høyer Vedel. It forms part of the Aarhus School of Music, the city's largest music school. The choir regularly performs concerts in Denmark and has an international orientation with a yearly tour and participation in international contests.
Fête Galante is a 1930 Danish-language comic opera by Poul Schierbeck to a libretto by Max Lobedanz. It was performed seven times at the Royal Theatre, Copenhagen 1931–32 with the composer's wife Sylvia Larsen in the main soprano role, but then not revived until 1960. It will be played by Den Jyske Opera in February/March 2021

Henriette Bonde-Hansen is a Danish operatic soprano who made her début at Den Jyske Opera in Aarhus in 1993. She has performed at opera houses throughout Europe as well as in Canada and South America.
Edith Sussanne Antonie Guillaume (1943–2013) was a Danish mezzo-soprano who sang for the Danish National Opera and the Royal Danish Opera. She is remembered for performing in several modernist works, including those of Krzysztof Penderecki, Per Nørgård and Ib Nørholm.
The 1926 JBUs Pokalturnering was the 3rd edition of the regional tournament, JBUs Pokalturnering, the highest senior cup competition organised by the Jutland FA (JBU). The tournament was held in the third and fourth quarter of 1926 with Aalborg BK as the defending cup champions. The season was launched on 22 August 1926 with the first round, embraced five cup rounds and concluded on 21 November 1926 with the cup final. A total of 29 clubs participated in the cup tournament, which was the same number of teams as the previous season.
Kleopatra is a Danish-language opera by August Enna to a libretto by Einar Christiansen based on the 1889 novel by H. Rider Haggard. The opera premiered in the Royal Theatre in 1895 and was performed around 20 times. In German translation the opera was performed in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Wroclaw, Riga, Zurich, Antwerp, Rotterdam and The Hague; In 1897 the opera ran for 50 performances in the opera house in Amsterdam.
