Denis classification

The Denis classification is a system of categorizing sacral fractures.^[1]

Classification

Zone	Description
I	Fracture lateral to the sacral foramen
II	Fracture through the sacral foramen
III	Fracture medial to the sacral foramen extending into the spinal canal
