Hatice Deniz Tekin [1] [2] (born 7 June 1997) is a Turkish musician and songwriter. Her interest in music began at the age of 8, when she started to play piano and flute. She joined various local music groups during her secondary and high school years. At the age of 16, she began performing live music in small cafes. At the same time, she shared her own recordings under the nickname Daphead on various music platforms and made covers of known songs and attracted attention. In 2017, she released her first studio album Kozakuluçka.

Life and career

She was born in İzmir as a child of a civil servant and spent her first years in Konak. Her parents studied dentistry and she spent her childhood in different provinces. She first went to Mardin with her family and finished primary school there. Then she completed her secondary and high school education in Gaziantep. Her interest in music started with piano and flute with the encouragement of her father. In Gaziantep, she shared her works on music sharing platforms such as SoundCloud and attracted attention. [3] Her recordings during this period were listened to between 1 and 7 million times on YouTube. [4] [5] After creating an adequate audience, she gave concerts in big cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir and Antalya. [6] [7] [8] In an interview in 2015, Turkish singer Kalben drew attention to the instruments and voice of Tekin. [9] After leaving Gaziantep, she started studying Western Languages and Literature at Boğaziçi University. [3] In 2017, at the age of nineteen, she released her first studio album Kozakuluçka, which consists of nine songs. In this album, she also covered songs such as "Beni Vur" by Ahmet Kaya and Yusuf Hayaloğlu. [10] Later she performed a number of songs together with Can Ozan. [11] In 2022 she got together with Geeva Flava and Dilan Balkay to put together her second EP called Mana. [12] She is currently playing bass for Yaşlı Amca. [13]

Hipnoz (Hypnosis) is the sixth studio album by Turkish singer Hande Yener. It was released on 27 May 2008 by Erol Köse Production. It features elements of electronic music, and was the singer's first studio album since the 2007 release of Nasıl Delirdim?. Yener wrote eight of the album's songs on her own, making her the songwriter whose name appears the most in the album. Two of the album's songs were written by Mor ve Ötesi's vocalist Harun Tekin. The compositions, recordings, and arrangements were done by Erol Temizel, who produced the album together with Yener.

Hande Maxi is the second extended play (EP) by Turkish singer Hande Yener. It was released on 8 September 2006 by Erol Köse Production. It contains elements of house music, and was the singer's first album since the release of Apayrı earlier in 2006, with which she changed her musical style. The album was produced by Hande Yener. Erdem Kınay also served as a producer, and took the task of composing, recording and mixing of a number of the songs. The album contains six songs in total.

Apayrı (Disparate) is the fourth studio album by Turkish singer Hande Yener. It was released on 6 January 2006 by Erol Köse Production. Yener, who created her own style of music in the minds of her listeners and music writers with her first albums, began questioning her works and choices after the release of her third studio album Aşk Kadın Ruhundan Anlamıyor (2004), which caused her unrest. Her dissatisfaction with her songs led her to turn to a different style of music compared to her previous works. Erdem Kınay and Mete Özgencil, who had previously worked on a few number of her songs, prepared a large part of this album and these musicians played a significant role in the development of the album in general.

Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer? is the fifth studio album by Turkish-Belgian singer Hadise. It was released on 12 April 2011 by Seyhan Müzik. The preparations began in 2010 and Hadise announced that she had planned to publish it by the end of the year. However, due to her break up with her then-boyfriend Sinan Akçıl in November 2010, and Akçıl's decision to take back some of the songs that he had prepared for the album, the release date for the album was postponed.
