Dennis Eveland born July 3, 1952, is an American guitarist, electronic musician, bassist, composer, and engineer. He started performing at the age of 12. His first band, The Berlin Airlift, opened for Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes, Parliament and Funkadelic, and the Red, White & Blues Band.
In 1972 Eveland moved to Los Angeles, CA and worked at Bud Friedman's Improv Comedy Club, opening for comedians with his "Django"-esque acoustic duo, Samartino and Eveland.
In 1978 he joined the Shieks of Shake, a popular local Los Angeles blues/psychedelia band, with Louis Lista (harp and vocals), John Sanborn (guitar), Paul Body (drums) as bassist, who released one 45 "Bullets in My Gun" on Mystic Records. The Shieks of Shake shared billings with Captain Beefheart, the Slits, X, the Blasters, Wall of Voodoo, Billy Vera and the Beaters, The Plugz, and many other LA based groups.
From 1978–1984 he performed on and off with the X-Streams a Phoenix-based ska/reggae band with Kurt Mayberry (guitar) Bob Steinhilber (drums) Lorainne Springer (vocals) Peter Tessensohn (bass) Mike Tempo (percussion). [1]
Dennis formed the band The Hand with Detroit-based members John Jones (vocal) Greg Sieja (bass) Wayne Tarasoff (drums) Mike Cosola (guitar) Jeff Teitell (Keyboards) and Bruce Teitell (Vocals & Percussion).
A reformation of The Hand added Harvest Eveland (vocals) and a 45 entitled "One Shot Deal" was released on Madhouse Records.
Turning to electronic music and film scoring, He composed and performed on the documentaries "The Making of the Abyss" and The Making of "No Escape". Titles from these compositions also appeared on a CD release "No Pressure" on Wildcat Records.
With Harvey Robert Kubernik and New Alliance Records, a spoken word project, Dennis produced, engineered and performed on releases with Scott Richardson, Pleasant Gehman, Linda Albertano, Paul Body, Louis Lista, Wanda Coleman, Michelle Norte, Michelle T. Clinton, Marisela Norte, Bill Mohr, Joel Lipman, Harry E. Northup, and Tommy Swerdlow.
Scott Richardson's CD Tornado Souvenirs featured vocal tracks with Ray Manzarek, Ron Ashton, Robert Mitchum, and Jane Greer. Dennis supplied the electronic music tracts for Scott's "White Man In The Middle" and Jane Greer's "Eve's Lament".

4 Non Blondes were an American alternative rock band from San Francisco, active from 1989 to 1994. Their only album, Bigger, Better, Faster, More!, spent 59 weeks on the Billboard 200 and sold 1.5 million copies between 1992 and 1994. They hit the charts in 1993 with the release of the album's second single, "What's Up?".
Motorpsycho is a Norwegian rock band from Trondheim. Their music can generally be defined as progressive or psychedelic rock, but they also mix in elements from alternative, jazz, post-rock, pop, country and many other musical styles. The members of the band are Bent Sæther, Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan and Tomas Järmyr (drums). Until March 2005, Håkon Gebhardt was the band's drummer. Los Bukis are a Mexican Grupero band from Ario de Rosales, Michoacan. In 1973, the band was founded by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís. Marco Antonio wrote the songs; the album "Me Volvi a Acordar de Ti" in the year of 1986 sold one million records in just a few weeks after its launch, earning the album "diamond" status. Don Gehman is an American record producer, engineer, and executive, best known for his work with John Mellencamp and Hootie & the Blowfish. He was one of "the most successful producers of the 1980s and 1990s." As a sound engineer, he also helped invent the modern rock P.A. and monitor systems.
Homeward Looking Angel is the third studio album by American country music artist Pam Tillis. The album was a #23 album on the Billboard charts. This album produced four singles for Tillis on the Hot Country Songs charts: the Top Five hits "Shake the Sugar Tree" (#3) and "Let That Pony Run" (#4), as well as the Top 20 hits "Cleopatra, Queen of Denial" (#11) and "Do You Know Where Your Man Is" (#16). The demo tape of "Shake the Sugar Tree", sung by Stephanie Bentley, was incorporated into Tillis's recording.
Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles is a tribute album to American rock band Eagles. It was released in 1993 on Giant Records to raise funds for the Walden Woods Project. The album features covers of various Eagles songs, as performed by country music acts. It was certified 3× Platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 27, 1994, honoring shipments of three million copies in the United States. Several cuts from the album all charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts after the album's release, the most successful being Travis Tritt's rendition of "Take It Easy" at number 21. Common Thread won all of its performers a Country Music Association Award for Album of the Year at the 1994 ceremony.
Pink Cream 69 is a German hard rock/heavy metal band founded in 1987 in Karlsruhe by Andi Deris, Dennis Ward, Kosta Zafiriou and Alfred Koffler. The band gained their first contract by winning music magazine Metal Hammer's newcomer competition in Ludwigsburg one year after forming. In 1994, Andi Deris left the band to join German power metal band Helloween. He was replaced by British singer David Readman in August 1994.

Despite the band's name, none of the bandmembers is named Freddy Jones; according to a 1992 interview, guitarist Wayne Healy stated it was "inspired by a big fat comic strip character named Freddy."
Buzzoven is an American heavy metal band from Salisbury, North Carolina, formed in 1990. The band was known for being one of the founders of the sludge genre along with NOLA's Eyehategod and Acid Bath, and also for their out-of-control and violent live shows. The band in its early days toured heavily around the United States and built up a cult following leading up to the release of their debut album, To a Frown (1993), which caught the attention of Roadrunner Records, who released the band's second album Sore (1994). The band was dropped by Roadrunner, and from then on have gone through several periods of being split-up and reformed, with the only constant member having been Kirk Fisher. In 2018, the band toured the Southern US as one of the opening acts for Eyehategod.
Flesh and Wood is the seventh album by Australian rock singer Jimmy Barnes, which was issued in December 1993. It was recorded by Barnes and Don Gehman co-producing and used only acoustic instruments. On eight of its fifteen tracks, Barnes duets with various artists: Diesel, Archie Roach, Joe Cocker, Ross Wilson, Tommy Emmanuel, Don Walker, Deborah Conway, and the Badloves. It reached No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
Exit-13 was an American grindcore band from Millersville, Pennsylvania. The band were formed in 1989 by Relapse Records founder and co-owner Bill Yurkiewicz (vocals), guitarist Steve O'Donnell and bassist Joel DiPietro. Their early recordings, including the Disembowelling Party, The Unrequited Love of Chicken Soup and Eat More Crust demos, their debut full-length Green Is Good (1990) and the EPs The Unrequited Love of Chicken Soup (1990) and Spare the Wrench, Surrender the Earth (1991) featured a line-up of Yurkiewicz, O'Donnell and DiPietro, with drum duties being shared between Bill Schaeffer and Pat McCahan.
This Is Me is the ninth studio album by American country music artist Randy Travis, released on April 26, 1994, by Warner Bros. Producer Kyle Lehning, Travis, and A&R Martha Sharp considered more than 1,000 songs before settling on the final ten. The tracks "Before You Kill Us All", "Whisper My Name", "This Is Me", and "The Box" were all released as singles, peaking at #2, #1, #5, and #8, respectively, on the Billboard country music charts. "Small Y'all" was later recorded by George Jones on his 1998 album It Don't Get Any Better Than This.
Down the Road is the debut solo studio album by American country music artist Larry Stewart. It was his first solo release, as he had left his role as lead singer of the band Restless Heart a year before. The album was released in 1993 on RCA Records Nashville and it produced three singles for him on the Billboard country charts: "Alright Already" at number five, "I'll Cry Tomorrow" at number 34 and "We Can Love" at number 62. Also included is "When I Close My Eyes", a number two hit in 1997 for Kenny Chesney.
Shaunna Elizabeth Hall is an American composer and musician from the San Francisco Bay Area. As guitarist, she was a founding member of the band 4 Non Blondes and is currently a member of George Clinton's Parliament-Funkadelic.
The Billy Joel Band is the band that backs singer-songwriter and pianist Billy Joel on both studio and live recordings. The band began with the recording of his first album as a solo artist in 1971; it stabilized around 1975 and underwent several lineup changes in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Joel's touring band as a whole did not begin playing on his records until he recorded the album Turnstiles in 1976. This line-up included Richie Cannata on saxophones and organ, Liberty DeVitto on drums, Russell Javors and Howie Emerson on guitars, and Doug Stegmeyer on bass.
Kahvas Jute were an Australian rock band formed in July 1970. Mainstay of the line-up was Dennis Wilson on guitar and vocals. Other founder members include Bob Daisley on bass guitar and Tim Gaze on lead guitar and vocals. Their debut album, Wide Open was released in January 1971. The group supported Bo Diddley on his second tour of Australia in October 1973. Australian rock music historian, Ian McFarlane, described their style as 'expansive and free flowing, strong on rhythm and melody and bristling with exceptional guitar work' . Kahvas Jute did a reunion gig in 1991 and in 1993, their album Wide Open was re-released on CD again. In 2005, they played a reunion show at The Basement in Sydney which was recorded and filmed. A DVD and album pack entitled Then Again: Live at the Basement was issued in 2006.
