MGP Junior is a Danish song contest for children aged 8 to 15. It originated in 2000 as a spin-off of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, before coming the national selection for the now-extinct MGP Nordic in 2002 and from 2006 to 2009. From 2003 to 2005, MGP Junior was Denmark's national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, a pan-European version of the format. The songs are performed primarily in Danish and written by the participants themselves. Many past contestants have gone on to be renowned recording artists, such as 2002's Morten Fillipsen, 2003's Anne Gadegaard, and 2014's Emma Pi Hedeboe.
Oh, to Be on the Bandwagon! is a 1972 Danish drama film directed by Henning Carlsen. It was entered in the 22nd Berlin International Film Festival. The film was selected as the Danish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 45th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee. For her role as Elly, Lone Lindorff won the Bodil Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
The Bodil Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role is one of the merit categories presented by the Danish Film Critics Association at the annual Bodil Awards. Created in 1948, it is one of the oldest film awards in Europe, and it honours the best performance by an actor in a supporting role in a Danish produced film. The jury can decide not to hand out the award, which happened numerous times between 1950 and 1985. Since 1986, it has been awarded every year.

Jens Pedersen Høysgaard was a Danish philologist, caretaker at the University of Copenhagen from 1737–1759, and bell-ringer at Trinitatis Church. In spite of never holding an academic post, he wrote several highly insightful treatises on Danish and Latin. Today, his work on Danish is considered the best of the early grammatical analyses of the Danish language. In 1743, he was the first to describe the stød, an important aspect of Danish phonology, in his Concordia res parvæ crescunt, eller Anden Prøve af Dansk Orthographie, in which he also introduced the letter Å å to the Danish alphabet.

The L-groups was a resistance group tasked with assassination of Danish collaborators and German forces occupying Denmark during the Second World War. The precursor to the group was established in 1940, but it was most active from 1944 to the end of the war. The group carried out at least 18 assassination operations and killed between 20 and 30 people. In 1945 the group was hard hit by arrests and killings of its members and further suffered a very high death-rate in the years immediately after the war with suicides and accidents killing a number of members. The group had strong ties to the Danish police, with 5 of its members being police officers.
Neergaard is a Danish noble family descended from War Councillor Peter Johansen Neergaard, whose two sons Jens Bruun Neergaard (1742–1788) and Johan Thomas Neergaard (1745–1806) were ennobled on 2 May 1788. The descendants of Jens Bruun Neergaard are referred to as the "elder branch" and the descendants of Johan Thomas Neergaard are referred to as the "younger branch".
Provinsmesterskabsturneringen i Fodbold was a knockout association football competition contested annually between 1913 and 1931, organised by the Danish FA (DBU), which determined the championship of the provinces. Throughout the competition's existence, the five regional football championship clubs from Bornholm FA (BBU), Funen FA (FBU), Jutland FA (JBU), Lolland-Falster FA (LFBU) and Zealand FA (SBU) participated after the end of normal league season, except for the years 1916–1920 and 1931. Until 1927, the cup tournament was part of the Danish Championship play-off, Landspokalturneringen, and was held prior to the Danish National Championship semifinal or final. Beginning from the 1928-season, the regional championship became a separate tournament held alongside the Danish Championship, but still organised by the Danish FA, now under the official name of Provinsmesterskabsturneringen. The 1915 edition was not played due to the limitations imposed as a consequence of World War I. The tournament was abolished after the 1931 edition, where the Jutland FA representative, Esbjerg fB, withdrew from the competition due to lack of time in its schedule.
