Derek Malone is a paralympic athlete from Ireland competing mainly in category T38 middle-distance events.
Derek competed in the 2000 and 2004 Summer Paralympics. In his first games he competed in the 5000m and 800m before changing to the 800m and 400m in his second games where he won the 800m bronze in the T38 class. [1]
Brad Scott is a Paralympian track and field athlete from Australia competing mainly in category T37 middle-distance events. He represented Australia at the three Paralympics - 2008 to 2016 in athletics and won two silver and one bronze medals.
A team representing Ireland has competed at every Summer Paralympic Games but the country has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics. Irish athletes have won 178 Summer Paralympic medals, 47 gold, 57 silver and 74 bronze. Paralympics Ireland is the National Paralympic Committee. Athletes from Northern Ireland may compete for either Great Britain or Ireland at the Paralympics, on the same basis as at the Olympics.
Tunisia made its Paralympic Games debut at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul. It was represented by a single athlete, Monaam Elabed, who won two bronze medals in athletics. The country has competed in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, although it has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics. Tunisian competitors have only ever taken part in athletics events, with the sole exception of Dalila Tabai who competed in powerlifting in 2000.
Panama made its Paralympic Games début at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, with a delegation of two competitors in athletics. It has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, but never in the Winter Paralympics. Panamanian delegations have always been small, never consisting in more than two competitors.
Gabon made its Paralympic Games début at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, sending a single athlete to compete in track and field. Mabicka entered two events: the 800m race, and the javelin (F57/58). In the former, he was disqualified, apparently "for attempting to race others with a non-racing wheelchair". In the latter, he finished last of fourteen, his throw of 11.72m earning him 302 points.
Pichet Krungget is a Paralympian athlete from Thailand competing mainly in category T53 sprint events.
Mohamed Charmi is a Paralympian athlete from Tunisia competing mainly in category T37 middle-distance events.
Marcel Eric Hug is a Paralympian athlete from Switzerland competing in category T54 wheelchair racing events. Hug, nicknamed 'The Silver Bullet', has competed in four Summer Paralympic Games for Switzerland, winning two bronze medals in his first Games in Athens in 2004. In 2010 he set four world records in four days, and at the 2011 World Championships he won a gold in the 10,000 metres and four silver medals, losing the gold in three events to long term rival David Weir. This rivalry continued into the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, where Hug won two silvers, in the 800m and the marathon. In the 2013 World Championships Hug dominated the field, winning five golds and a silver. During the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio, Hug was one of the most consistent competitors in the T54 class, winning two golds, in the 800 m and marathon, and two silvers medals, in the 1500m and 5000m.

José María Pámpano Cillero is a Paralympic athlete from Spain competing mainly in T36 middle-distance events. He won a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Paralympics.
Malcolm Pringle is a paralympic athlete from South Africa competing mainly in category T38 sprint and middle-distance events.
Julia Hassler is an Olympic and national-record holding swimmer from Liechtenstein. She swam for and was Liechtenstein closing-ceremony flagbearer at the 2012 Olympics. She has also swam for Liechtenstein at several other international competitions including the: World Championships (2011), Games of the Small States of Europe, European Championships (2014), Short Course Worlds and Youth Olympics (2010).
Matthew Silcocks is an Australian athletics competitor. He was selected to represent Australia at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in athletics. He finished sixth in the 1500m, in a time of 3:59.79.
Sam Harding is an Australian Paralympic athlete. His classification is T12 and competes in 400m and the 800m events. He represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, his second Games.
