Dermot Carlin is a Gaelic footballer for the Killyclogher St Mary's club and the Tyrone county team. He was a member of the squad that won the county's first All-Ireland Senior Football Championship in 2003. In the same year he was part of the Killyclogher team which captured the Tyrone Senior Football Championship for the first time. Carlin was also part of Tyrone's 2001 All-Ireland Minor Championship winning team.
In a very competitive era in Tyrone football, Carlin fought his way back onto the first team lineup by 2007. [1]
He also has a very rich past in underage football, having represented Omagh CBS in the MacRory Cup, reaching the final two years in a row, Dermot was the captain sharing the trophy in 2001, due to the onset of foot-and-mouth disease. [2] Carlin represented the University of Ulster when he was a student there. [3]

Éamonn Burns is a Gaelic footballer who played for Ballinascreen and the Derry county team in the 1990s and early 2000s. He was part of Derry's first ever All-Ireland Senior Football Championship winning side in 1993 and also won two Ulster Senior Football Championships and four National League titles. He also had a distinguished under-age career with the county - winning Ulster Under 21, Ulster Minor and All-Ireland Minor Championship medals. Burns still plays club football with St Colm's Ballinascreen.

Killyclogher St Mary's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Killyclogher in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. After many years of underage success, the club finally made the Senior Championship breakthrough in 2003. In 2016 they added another Senior Championship to their collection. They have appeared in 5 Senior County finals in the last 20 years. They currently have two Tyrone senior players: Tiernan McCann and Mark Bradley.

Knockmoyle is a hamlet and townland approximately 8 kilometres northwest of Omagh in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 census the Knockmoyle area had 141 households and a population of 329. It has a post office, church and public house. The nearby River Strule is well known for its trout fishing. Dermot McNicholl is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for the Derry county team in the 1980s and 1990s. He was part of Derry's 1993 All-Ireland Championship winning side, also winning Ulster Senior Football Championships in 1987 and 1993. An All Star winner, he usually played in the half-forward line and was regarded as one of the best footballers in Ireland at a time.
