R. K. Films was an Indian film production company based in R. K. Studio, a film studio, both established by and named after the Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor. It was headquartered at Chembur, Mumbai. Founded in 1948, one year after India gained independence. It had a rough start, as its first movie, Aag (1948) did not perform well at the box office. Most of the R. K. Films productions share a common theme of criticising society and depicting love across social divides.

Tasher Desh is a 2012 Bengali-language fantasy film directed by Q. The film has been described as a "trippy adaptation" of the 1933 Rabindrath Tagore play by Indian media. It begins with a nihilist playwright searching where the play, 'Tasher Desh' by Rabindranath Tagore is being played. He goes to major play theatres in Kolkata like The Academy of Fine Arts but no one has a show of Tasher Desh in the near time. He finally writes his own adapted script of the play by Tagore and completely immerses himself into it. Most of the dialogues and all the songs in the film are from the original play by Tagore while director Q is picturising himself as the playwright. It features Soumyak Kanti De Biswas, Anubrata Basu, Tillotama Shome, Rii, Joyraj Bhattacharjee, Tinu Verghis, and Immaduddin Shah in the lead roles. Tasher Desh made its international premiere on 11 November 2012 at the 7th Rome International Film Festival. The film had its release in India on 23 August 2013.
Raag Desh is a 2017 Indian historical action drama film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Gurdeep Singh Sappal and Rajya Sabha TV. The film is based on Indian National Army trials, the joint court martial of Indian National Army officers Colonel Prem Sahgal, Colonel Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon, Major Shah Nawaz Khan on charges of treason against the British Empire during World War 2. The leading roles in Raag Desh have been played by Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Mohit Marwah and Mrudula Murali. The film was released on July 28, 2017. Rishi Punjabi is the cinematographer of the film.
Bir Bikram 2 is a 2019 Nepali romantic comedy film. The film was directed by Milan Chams, written by Pradeep Bhardwaj who is the top paid screen writer of nepalese film industry ,produced by Milan Chams, and executive produced by Arpan Sapkota under the banner of Chams Entertainment. The film stars Paul Shah, Barsha Siwakoti, Najir Hussain, Buddhi Tamang, and Desh Bhakta Khanal. Bir Bikram 2 is a sequel to the 2016 film Bir Bikram, and received mixed reviews from the critics but met with positive response from audience. The film was success in single screens but had a poor run in multiplexes giving it a box office verdict of Below Average.
Mere Desh Ki Dharti is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language agriculture based drama film directed by Faraz Haider and produced by Vaishali Sarwankar under the banner of Carnival Motion Pictures, part of entertainment conglomerate Carnival Group. The film has an ensemble cast of Divyenndu Sharma, Anant Vidhaat, Anupriya Goenka and Inaamulhaq. The film rotates around two engineers and their transforming journey in life. The film also portrays the harsh realities of farmers in the villages of India.
Chiso Manchhe is a 2022 Nepali film written and directed by Dipendra K. Khanal under the banner of D.S. Digital Pvt. Ltd. It was released on June 17, 2022, and it features Arpan Thapa and Swastima Khadka in the lead roles. The filming took place in Bajura and Kathmandu.
