Antique was a Swedish-Greek singing duo consisting of Helena Paparizou and Nikos Panagiotidis, originating in Sweden and combining Greek popular music and lyrics with a Nordic dance pop beat. Both Paparizou and Panagiotidis were born and raised in Sweden by Greek parents. They were the first ever to be nominated for a Swedish Grammis in the category modern dance with a Greek song. In 2001, Antique were selected to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with the song "Die for You", sung in a blend of English and Greek, ending with a third place – only behind Estonia and hosts Denmark. This group was famous in Scandinavian countries, Cyprus, Greece, Germany and Italy.

Nikos Liberopoulos Greek footballer

Nikolaos "Nikos" Liberopoulos is a retired Greek former professional international footballer who played as a striker. He is famous for his aim-to-goal shot, his innate in-play instincts, and his technical attacking skills. Liberopoulos is a unique player in Greek domestic football, as he is equally adored by fans of both AEK Athens and Panathinaikos. He is the only player to be recorded in the top ten scorers of all time for both these teams. Indeed, after seven seasons at Panathinaikos Liberopoulos scored 103 goals. On 10 May 2012, he reached a milestone 100 goals for AEK Athens after a brace against Atromitos, making him the only player in history to score a hundred goals for both Athens clubs. On 8 September 2017, he became the Technical Director of AEK.

<i>Zorba</i> (musical)

Sakis Rouvas is the self-titled debut album by Greek pop-rock musician Sakis Rouvas, released in October 1991 by PolyGram Records in Greece and Cyprus. The entire album was produced by composer Nikos Terzis who was on the rise in the early 1990s, while the songs have all been penned by Giorgos Pavrianos, who was an already established writer. The album officially declared Rouvas as Greece's first male pop singer to closely mirror other Western pop music acts, however, he is often widely perceived as the first Greek pop artist.

<i>Ellada Eheis Talento</i>

Ellada Eheis Talento is a Greek reality television series and is part of the Got Talent multinational franchise. It premiered in Greece for the first time on 23 March 2007 and ended after 4 seasons on 25 June 2012 on the ANT1. On 1 October 2017 the show came back with the fifth season and for the first time from Skai TV, ended after 2 seasons on 16 December 2018. On 2021 the show will return again on ANT1.

The X Factor Greece is a Greek television reality music competition, based on the original series in the UK, to find new singing talent. The winner of which receives a recording contract with Sony Music Greece is Haris Antoniou. The third series began airing on ANT1 on 1 October 2010 and ended on 11 February 2011. The show was presented by Sakis Rouvas, with Giorgos Lianos and Maria Sinatsaki hosting the audition shows. The competition is split into several stages: auditions, bootcamp, judges' houses and live shows. Auditions took place throughout July and September 2010, with George Levendis, Giorgos Theofanous, Katerina Gagaki and Nikos Mouratidis returning as judges. Following bootcamp, successful acts were split into four categories: Boys, Girls, Over-25s and Groups. The live shows started on 29 October 2010. It is also broadcast abroad via ANT1's international stations.

"Parafora" is the third single by Greek pop/rock musician Sakis Rouvas from his thirteenth studio album of the same name. It is an electropop-ambient-dance-pop song written by Dimitris Kontopoulos and Nikos Kostidakis and produced by Kontopoulos. The song was released to radio stations on 15 October 2010 to coincide with the premiere date of Rouvas 2010–11 winter season shows with Anna Vissi called Face2Face. It is performed as the second song of the setlist at the aforementioned concert series.
