MEGA Channel, also known as MEGA TV or just MEGA, is a television network in Greece, that broadcasts a mix of foreign and Greek programming. It is the first and the oldest private television network in Greece.

Alpha TV is a Greek free-to-air channel, one of the biggest stations in Greece. The station features a mix of Greek and foreign shows with an emphasis on information. The studios are located in Kifissia and Pallini. Alpha TV is owned by Alpha Satellite Television S.A. In Cyprus, private broadcaster Sigma TV used to broadcast a number of Alpha's programs. Alpha Cyprus is now one of the highest-rated Cypriot channels.

Thanasis Veggos was a Greek actor and director born in Neo Faliro, Piraeus. He performed in around 130 films, predominantly comedies in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, starring in more than 50 among them. He is considered one of the best Greek comedy actors of all time. His famous comedic catchphrase was Καλέ μου άνθρωπε.

Nikos Xanthopoulos was a Greek actor, known for his roles in the 1960s era Greek Drama Cinema. He was also a singer of Greek folk bouzouki, having released many albums and singles. He was known as "the child of the folk" mainly for playing roles depicting men from the lower working classes. He usually portrayed a poor man, hit hard by fate, seeking justice or one struggling against wealthy and evil men. In other cases, he played the role of an immigrant in Germany working hard to provide for his wife and child. Other times he played an unknown poor bouzouki player and singer working his way up to stardom. From the late 1960s until the early 1970s, these roles helped him become a star in Greece during the dictatorship of the Junta.

In 2005 she won the title of Miss Hellas 2005, on National Annual Beauty Pageant of Greece, followed by her participation on Miss World 2005 representing Greece.

Sigma TV is a commercial network in Cyprus that commenced broadcasting on April 3, 1995. It is a private service and is currently the first-rated channel in Cyprus. Sigma TV is geared at a younger audience, with the focus on the 18-45 age group. It broadcasts a mix of original programs as well as popular foreign programming. Sigma is a general entertainment station with programming that includes Children's shows, sports, news, movies, series and popular telenovelas from Latin America.

Haris Alexiou is a Greek singer. She is one of the most popular singers in Greece and has been commercially successful since the 1970s. She has worked with important Greek songwriters and composers, has performed at top musical theatres all over the world, and has received several awards. She has recorded over thirty albums and has been featured on albums of other musicians. On 14 March 2010 Alpha TV ranked Alexiou as the first top-certified female artist in Greece in the phonographic era, Chart Show: Your Countdown and the Number 3 overall ranking with regards to the sale of the personal albums certified Gold or Platinum in Greek discography since 1970, behind the male singers George Dalaras and Yiannis Parios. Eight of her personal albums released between 1977 and 2003 have surpassed 1.5 million sales, the only Greek female singer to do so.

Me varka… to tragoudi is the name of a live album by popular Greek singer Marinella. The concert was recorded at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, on September 18, 1999. It was released on November 20, 1999 in Greece and Cyprus by BMG Greece and it went platinum seven months after its release, selling over 50,000 units.

Kazantzidis & Marinella is a self-titled studio album by popular Greek singers Stelios Kazantzidis and Marinella that includes their last common recordings. It was recorded in 1968 and released on 18 January 1969 by PolyGram Records in Greece. Some of these recordings were first released on 45 rpm vinyl records by Philips/Standard in 1968.

<i>Kardia Mou Moni</i> 1981 studio album by Tolis Voskopoulos

Kardia mou moni… is the name of a studio album by popular Greek singer Tolis Voskopoulos. It was released in December, 1981 by Minos EMI in Greece and it went gold selling over 50,000 units. The original release was in stereo on vinyl and cassette. This album was re-issued on CD in the 1990s by Minos EMI.
