Vairamuthu Ramasamy is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film Nizhalgal, an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. During the course of his 40-year film career, he has written over 7,500 songs and poems which have won him seven National Awards, the most for any Indian lyricist. He has also been honored with a Padma Shri, a Padma Bhushan and a Sahitya Akademi Award, for his abundant literary output.
Ramesh Khanna is an Indian actor and film director who has worked in Tamil cinema. He has acted in a number of supporting and comedian roles.
Sistla Janaki is an Indian playback singer and occasional music composer from Andhra Pradesh. She is referred to respectfully as "Janaki Amma" and Nightingale of South India. She is one of the best-known playback singers in India. She is referred to as 'Gaana Kogile' in Karnataka, and 'Gaana Kokila' in Telugu States and 'Isaikkuyil' in Tamil Nadu She has recorded over 48,000 songs in films, albums, TV and Radio which includes solos, duets, chorus and title tracks in 17 languages including Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit, Odia, Tulu, Urdu, Punjabi, Badaga, Bengali, Konkani and also in foreign languages such as English, Japanese, German and Sinhala. However the highest number of songs in her career were in Kannada followed by Malayalam. Starting in 1957 with the Tamil film Vidhiyin Vilayattu, her career has spanned over six decades. S. Janaki is widely acclaimed as a Queen of expressions in any languages with nativity.
Vikram Dharma was an Indian action choreographer in the Tamil film industry in Indian cinema. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Action for Yuva. He was the son of fight master R. N. Nambiar who was known for his works in MGR's movies. He worked with actor Kamal Haasan in many films. His working name of "Vikram" was assigned to him once he became acted in Kamal Haasan's movie of the same name in 1986. Stunt masters and Actors like Ponnambalam, Thalapathy Dinesh, K. Ganesh Kumar, Ram Laxman, Anbariv, Mahanadi Shankar, Besant Ravi, Rajendran, T. Ramesh, Indian Baskar, Rajasekhar, Sai Dheena, Azhagu & Vengal Rao have worked as fighters and assistants to him. He died of a heart attack in early 2006.
Vasudevan, known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema.

Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali was an Indian poet who has the record for writing the most songs in Tamil cinema. He is also recognised for a five-decade long association in the Tamil film industry and has written over 15,000 songs. He acted in a number of films, including Sathya, Hey Ram, Paarthale Paravasam and Poikkal Kudhirai. He was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honour in 2007.
Vennira Aadai Moorthy is an Indian actor and comedian in Tamil cinema. He has starred in many Tamil films and television serials as a comedian and also played supporting roles. He is a lawyer by education, and holds a B.L. degree in addition to a PhD in astrology. He is married to actress Manimala who played Suhasini's mother in Sindhu Bhairavi and the heroine in Vallavanukku Vallavan (1965). He is also a well known script-writer. Kamal Haasan's first full-fledged film as hero Maalai Sooda Vaa, had Murthy as a script writer.

Velmurugan Thangasamy Manohar, professionally credited as Charlie, is an Indian actor who works in Tamil cinema. He has acted in more than 800 Tamil films as a comedian and supporting actor. He was named after the English comedian Charlie Chaplin.
Rambo Rajkumar, born Rajkumar, was an Indian stunt director and action choreographer. He was the son of T.K.Paramasivam, who himself was in the stunt department. Rajkumar was a very highly respected stunt director and has worked in more than 500 films in all Indian languages and is known for his close association with actor Mithun Chakraborty. His posthumous release were the films Aayirathil Oruvan and Aadukalam.
Vadivukkarasi is an Indian actress. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Sigappu Rojakkal (1978) and has acted in more than 350 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam and 40 television serials in Tamil. Film director A. P. Nagarajan is her maternal uncle.
Pulavar Pulamaipithan was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film Kudiyirundha Koyil in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health.
Chandrasekhar, also known as Vagai Chandrasekhar, is an Indian stage, film and television actor working in Tamil language films, known for his histrionics. He is currently the Chairman of Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandram. He played lead or supportive roles in Tamil films of the 1980s. He won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the 2002 film Nanba Nanba. He contested and won from Velachery constituency in State legislative assembly election 2016 from DMK party.
Super Subbarayan is a stunt director and actor in the Indian cinema, mainly in Kollywood and Mollywood. He has been working in the industry since 1980. Stunt masters and actors like Rocky Rajesh, Thalapathy Dinesh, Ponnambalam, Ram Laxman, Kundrathur Babu, Indian Baskar, Rajasekhar, Dhilip Subbarayan, Thavasiraj, and Dinesh Subbarayan have worked as fighters and assistants to him. His sons, Dhilip Subbarayan and Dinesh Subbarayan, are also leading stunt masters. He has won four Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Stunt Coordinator.
K. K. Rathnam, known as Judo. K. K. Rathnam, was an Indian action choreographer in Kollywood, Bollywood, Mollywood, Sandalwood and Tollywood. He made his debut as an actor in the film Thamarai Kulam in 1959, and later made his debut as a stunt master in the film Vallavan Oruvan in 1966. He made his last appearance as an actor before retirement in the film Thalainagaram in 2006. Stunt masters and actors such as Vikram Dharma, Super Subbarayan, Thalapathy Dinesh, Jaguar Thangam, Rocky Rajesh, Rambo Rajkumar, FEFSI Vijayan, Stun Siva, Ponnambalam, Judo. K. K. Thanga Pazham, known by his screen name Jaguar Thangam, is a stunt choreographer in the Indian film industry who works in almost all regional languages in India primarily in Tamil Cinema. He began Silambam when he was 6 years old. In the middle of 1978, he was given the name Jaguar Thangam by a Malayalam director Mr. Chandrakumar. Following his debut in Chandrakumar's Hindi drama Meena Bazzar (1978) as a stunt coordinator, his stunt career commenced with a brief phase of stunt sequences in nationwide film industry.
