<i>Winx Club</i> Italian-American animated series

Winx Club is an animated series co-produced by Rainbow SpA and later Nickelodeon. It was created and directed by Italian animator Iginio Straffi. The show is set in a magical universe that is inhabited by fairies, witches, and other mythical creatures. The main character is a fairy warrior named Bloom, who enrolls at Alfea College to train and hone her skills. The series uses a serial format with an ongoing storyline. It premiered on 28 January 2004, becoming a ratings success in Italy and on Nickelodeon networks internationally.

Rainbow S.p.A. is an Italian studio founded by Iginio Straffi. Viacom became a co-owner of the studio in 2011. Rainbow has collaborated with Viacom/Paramount's other company, Nickelodeon, on multiple shows, including Winx Club and Club 57. The studio is based in Loreto, Marche and was founded by Straffi in 1995. Rainbow began as an animation studio, providing creative services for larger companies until it secured enough funds for original productions.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Nickelodeon Animation Studio</span> American animation studio

Nickelodeon Animation Studio is an American animation studio owned by Paramount Global through the Nickelodeon Group. It has created many original television programs for Nickelodeon, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, Rugrats and Avatar: The Last Airbender, among various others. Since the 2010s, the studio has also produced its own series based on preexisting IP purchased by Paramount Global, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Winx Club. In November 2019, Nickelodeon Animation Studio signed a multiple-year output deal for Netflix, which will include producing content, in both new and preexisting IP, for the streaming platform.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Nickelodeon (Dutch TV channel)</span> Television network in the Netherlands

The Dutch version of Nickelodeon, broadcasting free-to-cable in the Netherlands and through satellite in Belgium, was launched on 14 July 2003. In addition to the general Nickelodeon programmes, original productions such as ZOOP, Het Huis Anubis, and SuperNick are also broadcast. The Dutch Kids' Choice Awards were presented in three years, featuring nominees that are relevant to Dutch audiences. In 2010, the US Kids' Choice Awards aired, which included categories for the Netherlands and Belgium inserted into the broadcast.

<i>Worldwide Day of Play</i> TV series or program

Worldwide Day of Play is an annual event on the Nickelodeon cable channel, designed to encourage children and parents to turn off the television and play together, especially outdoors. The yearly event officially began on October 2, 2004, and has been broadcast on all of Paramount-owned, kid-aimed channels: Nickelodeon, Nick GAS, Nick Jr. Channel and TeenNick, Nicktoons, and NickMusic. The event was designed as a finale for Nick's six-month-long Let's Just Play campaign. In addition, Nick.com would also have special features for children to learn how to stay active and healthy.

Nickelodeon Schweiz is a Swiss German-language pay television channel centred towards children. It was launched on 1 April 2009 timesharing with VIVA Switzerland, replacing the German feed that was available in Switzerland. The programming schedule is the same as Nickelodeon Germany feed, with commercial breaks from the country being replaced by local ads.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, known as Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for its 2017 fifth and final season, is an American animated television series developed by Ciro Nieli, Joshua Sternin, and Jennifer Ventimilia. It is the third animated series in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. The series aired on Nickelodeon in the United States from September 28, 2012, to November 12, 2017. It was produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio and LowBar Productions. Bardel Entertainment handled layout and CG animation services. The series begins with the Turtles emerging from their sewer home for the first time, using their ninjutsu training to fight enemies in present-day New York City.

The fifth and final season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, titled Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, aired on Nickelodeon from March 19, 2017, to November 12, 2017, consisting of 20 episodes.

Paramount Consumer Products is the retailing and licensing division of Paramount Global. The department is in charge of merchandising for Paramount-owned brands. As of 2015, the division was valued at $3 billion.

Nickelodeon Group, also known as Nickelodeon Networks Inc., is an American children's entertainment company and a sub-division of the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Global that oversees cable television channels, including its flagship service Nickelodeon, its in-house animation studio and Paws, Inc.
