Hunter × Hunter is an anime television series that aired from 2011 to 2014 based on Yoshihiro Togashi's manga series Hunter × Hunter. The story begins with a young boy named Gon Freecss, who one day discovers that the father who he thought was dead, is in fact alive and well. He learns that his father, Ging, is a legendary "Hunter", an individual who has proven themselves an elite member of humanity. Attack on Titan is a Japanese dark fantasy anime television series adapted from the manga series of the same name by Hajime Isayama. The series premiered on April 7, 2013, and concluded on November 5, 2023. It has aired on MBS TV and NHK General TV. In North America, the series has been streamed on Crunchyroll, Funimation and Hulu. Attack on Titan has also aired on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block in the United States.
Tokyo Ghoul is a Japanese dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Sui Ishida. It was serialized in Shueisha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump from September 2011 to September 2014, with its chapters collected in 14 tankōbon volumes. The story is set in an alternate version of Tokyo where humans coexist with ghouls, beings who look like humans but can only survive by eating human flesh. Ken Kaneki is a college student who is transformed into a half-ghoul after an encounter with one of them. He must navigate the complex social and political dynamics between humans and ghouls while struggling to maintain his humanity.
Fire Force is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo. It was serialized in Kodansha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from September 2015 to February 2022, with its chapters collected in 34 tankōbon volumes. In North America, the manga has been licensed for English language release by Kodansha USA.
Lupin the 3rd Part 5 also known as Lupin the 3rd Part V: Misadventures in France, is a Japanese anime television series produced by TMS Entertainment and animated by Telecom Animation Film, directed by Yūichirō Yano, and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi. Part of the Lupin III franchise, it is the sixth anime television adaptation of the Lupin III manga series created by Monkey Punch.
The first season of the Tokyo Ghoul anime television series is adapted from Sui Ishida's manga series of the same name. The anime is produced by Pierrot and directed by Shuhei Morita. The season aired from July to September 2014 on Tokyo MX, TVO, TVA, TVQ, BS Dlife and AT-X. The season adapts the first 66 chapters of the manga.
One-Punch Man is a Japanese anime television series based on the webcomic of the same name written by One and its subsequent manga remake illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The first season was directed by Shingo Natsume at Madhouse and written by Tomohiro Suzuki. The series also features character design by Chikashi Kubota, who also served as chief animation director, and music composed by Makoto Miyazaki. The season aired from October 5 to December 21, 2015 and was simulcast outside Japan by Daisuki and Hulu. An English dub aired in the United States on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block from July 17 to October 9, 2016.
The second season of the One-Punch Man anime television series is based on the webcomic of the same name written by One and its subsequent manga remake illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The season is animated by J.C. Staff, with Chikara Sakurai replacing Shingo Natsume as series director and Yoshikazu Iwanami replacing Shoji Hata as sound director. Tomohiro Suzuki, Chikashi Kubota and Makoto Miyazaki reprised their roles as series composer, character designer and music composer, respectively. The second season aired between April 10 and July 3, 2019, with a recap special covering the first season having aired a week before broadcast on April 3, 2019. The second season was simulcast on Hulu in the United States, on Tubi in Canada, on AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand, and on Crunchyroll in Europe. The season aired on Adult Swim's Toonami block from October 12, 2019, to January 12, 2020.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese anime television series based on Koyoharu Gotouge's manga series of the same name. The second season adapts from the 7th volume to the 11th volume of the manga and ran for two continuous cours. The first part, titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train Arc, is a seven-episode recompilation of the "Mugen Train" arc as featured in the 2020 anime film. It contains new music and an all new anime original episode which takes place immediately before the main story. The first part aired from October 10 to November 28, 2021. The second part, titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Entertainment District Arc, aired eleven episodes from December 5, 2021, to February 13, 2022. The season was directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with character designs by Akira Matsushima, and animation produced by Ufotable; staff and cast from the first season and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train also returned.
