<span class="mw-page-title-main">Gemini TV</span> Indian Telugu-language TV channel

Gemini TV is an Indian Telugu language general entertainment pay television channel owned by Sun TV Network. It is the first satellite TV channel in Telugu. It was launched on 9 February 1995 by the Gemini Group of Hyderabad, in association with Sun TV Network. In 1996–97, Sun TV Network acquired a controlling interest in the channel. The channel's programming consists of serials, films, film-based programs and game shows alongside some reality shows. Gemini TV HD was launched on 11 December 2011.

ETV is an Indian Telugu-language general entertainment pay television channel. The channel was launched on 27 August 1995 focusing on the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a part of the ETV Network owned by Ramoji Group. It is the second oldest Telugu satellite channel after Gemini TV. It is also one of the earliest private satellite channels in South India.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Gundu Hanumantha Rao</span> Indian actor

Gundu Hanumantha Rao was an Indian actor and comedian who worked in Telugu films, theatre, and television. He first appeared in Jandhyala's film Aha Naa Pellanta in 1987 and gained popularity in comedian roles in S. V. Krishna Reddy's films. He is known for his roles in Rajendrudu Gajendrudu,Mayalodu, Yamaleela, Srivariki Premalekha,Pellaniki Premalekha Priyuraliki Subhalekha (1992), Apparao Driving School, and the TV serial Amrutham. He won three TV Nandi Awards from Andhra Pradesh Government, one of them for Amrutham serial. He was a renowned stage artist before entering into cinema, his first drama being "Ravana Bramha" at the age of 18. He acted in over 600 movies in Telugu and was a popular TV artist.

Kolluru Chidambara Rao, known professionally as Kallu Chidambaram, was an Indian actor known for his works in Telugu cinema. Chidambaram is one of the finest comedians of Telugu cinema. Chidambaram started his career as a theatre artist while working as an Assistant Engineer in Visakhapatnam Port Trust. He made his film debut in 1988 with Kallu from which acquired his stage name. He had garnered the state Nandi Special Jury Award for the film.

<i>Anveshitha</i> Telugu television series (1997–1999)

Anveshitha is an Indian Telugu-language supernatural drama that aired on ETV from 1997 to 1999. Written by Ilyas Ahmed and Jyotsna, and directed by Ilyas Ahmed under the pseudonym Pradyumna, the series was produced by Ramoji Rao. It premiered on 27 August 1997 on the occasion of ETV's second anniversary and ran for 100 episodes till 21 July 1999.

Raja Ravindra is an Indian actor predominantly appears in Telugu films and television serials. Apart from Telugu films, he has acted in several Tamil films and a few Kannada movies. He started his career with TV serials and entered into films.

Shamili Sounderajan, known professionally as Varshini Sounderajan, is an Indian actor, model, and television presenter who appears in Telugu films. She made her acting debut in the film Chandamama Kathalu (2014).

<i>Star Mahila</i> Indian Game show

Star Mahila is an Indian Telugu-language game show for women, hosted by Suma Kanakala. The show airs on ETV at afternoons from 1.00-2.00 pm. It's the second longest Indian game show. Season 1 aired from 1 January 2007 to 7 June 2008 and as ‘Star Mahila’ from 9 June 2008 to 26 January 2019, completing a total of 3181 episodes within a 12-year continuous run without an anchor/season/episode repeat. However, its second season was only premiered for barely 7–8 months from 17 August 2020 to 3 April 2021. It had two Super Star Mahila competitions held in two different times, but of the same season. They featured a selection of participants from various districts of all over Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. The winner of the first season was Sudha from Warangal district; whereas, the winner of SuperStar Mahila 2 was Teja Swaroopa from Rajahmundry of East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh

Kota Aadhayya, professionally known as Hyper Aadi, is an Indian actor and television presenter who appears in Telugu films and television. He was born in Pallamalla Village, Chimakurthy Mandal near to Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. He is known for his appearance in the television comedy show Jabardasth.

Alitho Saradaga is an Indian Telugu-language television talk show hosted by Ali and produced by Gnapika Entertainments. The show was primarily broadcast on ETV. The show was premiered on the television on 24 October 2016. First season was ended on 19 December 2022. Second season was premiered on 5 March 2024.

<i>Suma Adda</i> Indian talk show

Suma Adda is an Indian Telugu-language television game show sketch comedy and variety talk show hosted by Suma Kanakala and produced by Mallemala Entertainments. Suma Adda premiered on ETV and ETV Win on 7 January 2023.

<i>Lady Detective</i> (TV series) Indian Telugu-language TV series

Lady Detective is an Indian Telugu-language detective fiction television series directed by Vamsy. It aired on ETV from 1996 to 1997, with episodes broadcast every Thursday from 8:30 to 9:00 PM. The series features Uttara in the lead role as Sodhana, a private detective, supported by Sakshi Ranga Rao and Rama Prabha as her assistants. The show garnered significant popularity and was well received during its original run.

Popula Pette is a 1997 Indian Telugu-language comedy-drama television series created and directed by Jandhyala. Produced by Ramoji Rao under the Usha Kiran Movies banner, the series premiered on 24 January 1997, and aired on ETV every Friday, with episodes having a runtime of approximately 20 to 24 minutes. The show features Naresh, Kinnera, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, and Sakshi Ranga Rao in key roles.
