Humayun Ahmed was a Bangladeshi novelist, dramatist, screenwriter, filmmaker, songwriter, scholar, and academic. His breakthrough was his debut novel Nondito Noroke published in 1972. He wrote over 200 fiction and non-fiction books. He was one of the most popular authors and filmmakers in post-independence Bangladesh. Pakistani English newspaper Dawn referred to him as the cultural legend of Bangladesh.

RTV is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel owned by Bengal Media Corporation. It is headquartered in the BSEC Building in Kawran Bazar, Dhaka. RTV began broadcasting on 26 December 2005 as a sister channel of NTV, and primarily airs entertainment and news programming. It is one of Bangladesh's most popular television channels, according to TRP reports.

Ekushey Television, also known by its acronym ETV, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language privately owned satellite and cable television channel owned by S. Alam Group of Industries. It is headquartered in Kawran Bazar, Dhaka, and is Bangladesh's first privately owned television channel to broadcast news and current affairs programming.

Suborna Mustafa is a Bangladeshi television, film and stage actress. She is the current Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Reserved Women's Seat-4 since February 2019. She is a member of Bangladesh Awami League party.

Ferdousi Mazumder is a Bangladeshi film, television and stage actress. She was awarded Ekushey Padak (1998), Independence Day Award (2020) and Bangla Academy Literary Award (2020) by the government of Bangladesh. As of 2009, on stage she has given over 1200 performances of about 35 plays, mostly for her own group, Theatre.

Banglavision is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel owned by Shamol Bangla Media Limited, commencing official broadcasts on 31 March 2006. Its name is a portmanteau of "bangla" and "television". Banglavision is based in Bir Uttam C.R. Dutta Road in Banglamotor, Dhaka.

Bonna Mirza is a Bangladeshi actress both in television and film, and on stage, and a social activist too. She has acted in more than a thousand Television-dramas and some remarkable films. Mirza started her career in 1992 with theatre group ‘DeshNatok’, a member of group theater federation. She is an enlisted artist of Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Betar. Her notable theatre performances are ‘NityaPuran’ and ‘Darpane Sharatshashi’, ‘A Dolls’ House’, ‘Ghorlopat’ among some more. In television acting, she has done more than a thousand. She is an elected secretary of Actors' Equity, the professional organization of the television actors, from 2018. She is a speaker on various social issues in different social forums – educational institutions, social organizations, TV channels.

GTV, also known as Gazi Television, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel owned by Gazi Group Commencing broadcasts on 12 June 2012, it is based in Segun Bagicha in Dhaka.

Dolly Johur is a Bangladeshi film, television and stage actress. She earned Bangladesh National Film Award for Lifetime Achievement (2021) from the Bangladeshi government. She received Bangladesh National Film Awards 2 times - as the Best Actress and the Best Supporting Actress for her roles in the films Shonkhonil Karagar and Ghani (2006) respectively.

Nadia Ahmed is a Bangladeshi television actress and dancer. She made her TV debut in 1986 on the BTV children's program Shishumela. as a dancer.

Wahida Mollick Jolly is a Bangladeshi actress. She works on stage plays, television dramas and films. She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Costume Design for the film Mrittika Maya (2013).

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Masum Aziz</span> Bangladeshi film actor (1952–2022)

Muhammad Masum Aziz was a Bangladeshi stage, film and television actor. He played in more than four hundred dramas and films since 1985. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film Ghani (2011) and in 2022, he was awarded the Ekushey Padak for his contribution to acting by the government of Bangladesh.

Sanjida Preeti is a Bollywood Bangladeshi actress, model, dancer, make-up artist & set designer etc. She was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Farhan Ahmed Jovan, popularly known as Jovan, is a Bangladeshi television and film actor and model. He started his acting career by appearing in the TV drama University (2012). He made his film debut on big screen with the film Ostitto (2016).
