Alton Crawford Brown Jr. is an American television personality, food show presenter, chef, author, voice actor, and cinematographer. He is the creator and host of the Food Network television show Good Eats that ran for 14 seasons, host of the miniseries Feasting on Asphalt and Feasting on Waves, and host and main commentator on Iron Chef America and Cutthroat Kitchen. Brown is a best-selling author of several books on food and cooking. A recap series titled Good Eats Reloaded aired on Cooking Channel, and a true sequel series, Good Eats: The Return, ran from 2019 to 2021 on Food Network.

Good Eats is an American television cooking show, created and hosted by Alton Brown, which aired in North America on Food Network and later Cooking Channel. Likened to television science educators Mr. Wizard and Bill Nye, Brown explores the science and technique behind the cooking, the history of different foods, and the advantages of different kinds of cooking equipment. The show tends to focus on familiar dishes that can easily be made at home, and also features segments on choosing the right appliances, and getting the most out of inexpensive, multi-purpose tools. Each episode has a distinct theme, which is typically an ingredient or a certain cooking technique, but may also be a more general theme such as Thanksgiving. In the tenth anniversary episode, Brown stated that the show was inspired by the idea of combining Julia Child, Mr. Wizard, and Monty Python. On May 11, 2011, Brown confirmed that the series would come to an end, ceasing production at episode 249. Good Eats is the third longest running Food Network series, behind 30 Minute Meals and Barefoot Contessa.

Cooking Channel is a Canadian English language specialty channel and a localized version of the U.S. channel of the same name owned by Corus Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery. Dedicated to programming related to food and cooking, its branding is licensed from Discovery Inc., which holds a minority ownership, and is also a partner on sister channel Food Network.

Cooking Channel is an American basic cable channel owned by Food Network, a joint venture and general partnership between Warner Bros. Discovery Networks (69%) and Nexstar Media Group (31%). The channel is a spin-off of Food Network, broadcasting programming related to food and cooking. Cooking Channel is available via traditional Cable Television as well as Discovery+ since January 2021.

Nadia Giosia, better known by her stage name Nadia G, is a Canadian-born day trader and former celebrity chef. She is known for hosting the television shows Nadia G's Bitchin' Kitchen and Bite This with Nadia G, both of which aired on the Food Network Canada and the Cooking Channel. Giosia also launched a feminist rock, comedy and food festival in Los Angeles in 2015 called Riot Grill and plays in a punk rock band called The Menstruators. Giosia lives in Los Angeles, California.

Unique Sweets is an American television series on Cooking Channel about various eating establishments across the United States and their signature or most popular desserts. The series features interviews with guest pastry chefs and food critics who give commentary about their favorite dessert dishes. Each episode features a different restaurant, bakery or specialty sweet shop, focusing on one theme, such as ice-cream, cakes or pies.

Dinner at Tiffani's is an American food-based television series on the Cooking Channel that premiered on February 25, 2015. The show follows host Tiffani Thiessen preparing dinner with a different group of celebrity friends each episode.

<i>Fire Masters</i> Canadian food reality television series

Fire Masters is a Canadian cooking competition television series that began airing simultaneously on Food Network Canada in Canada and Cooking Channel in the United States on July 6, 2019. The show is presented by chef Dylan Benoit, and it features three barbecue chefs competing in three rounds, where the winner of the second round wins a Napoleon portable barbecue grill and then competes against one of the three judges in the final round for a prize of $10,000.
