Zokie of Planet Ruby is a Canadian animated television series created by Brian Morante that premiered on Amazon Prime Video on December 31, 2023. [4] The series is directed by Mike Geiger and is produced by Nelvana. [3] The first season consists of 26 episodes.
The series is about a 10-year-old vlogger named Ruby who starts a video channel called Planet Ruby. When she discovers that her first follower is a space alien named Zokie Sparkleby, the two become best friends who film their everyday adventures. [5]
On March 19, 2021, the series was announced during the 2021 Nickelodeon Upfront under the original title ZJ Sparkleton, which would have debuted in 2022. [6] [7] In January 2022, it was retitled Zokie Sparkleby. [8] In May 2022, the series was once again retitled Zokie of Planet Ruby, [9] and premiered on Amazon Prime Video in the United States on December 31, 2023 with 26 episodes were ordered for the first season. Braceface is a Canadian-Chinese animated series produced by Nelvana Limited and Jade Animation (Shenzhen) Company, and was produced in association with Teletoon and Fox Family Channel for the first season. The show features actress Alicia Silverstone from the movie Clueless serving as executive producer. The episodes focus on the misadventures of Sharon Spitz, a high school student who often struggles with an unusual ability occurring in her braces, which often creates mishaps in her daily life. Although considered to be a trademark feature in the series, later episodes began to drop this narrative in favor of tackling real-world issues. Unlike most animated shows which take place in fictional cities or states, etc., this one takes place in the real-life town of Elkford, British Columbia.

Planet Sheen is an American animated television series created by Keith Alcorn and Steve Oedekerk. The Loud House is an American animated television series created by Chris Savino that premiered on Nickelodeon on May 2, 2016.
