The Samajwadi Party is a socialist political party in India. It was founded on 4 October 1992 by former Janata Dal politician Mulayam Singh Yadav and is headquartered in New Delhi. The Samajwadi Party is currently led by former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,Akhilesh Yadav. As of 2024,it is currently the third-largest political party in India,and the largest party in Uttar Pradesh.

Ambikapur is a city and headquarters of Surguja district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. It is one of the oldest cities in the state,in east-central India. Ambikapur is also the divisional headquarters of Surguja Division which consists of the six districts of Surguja,Korea,Manendragarh,Balrampur,Surajpur and Jashpur.

Digvijaya Singh is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha since 2014. He is a senior leader of the Indian National Congress and Ex-General Secretary of the Indian National Congress party's All India Congress Committee. Previously,he had served as the 14th and 15th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh,a central Indian state,in two terms from 1993 to 1998 and from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that he was a minister in Chief Minister Arjun Singh's cabinet between 1980 and 1984. In 2019 Indian general election he was defeated by Pragya Singh Thakur for Bhopal Lok Sabha seat.

Akhilesh Yadav is an Indian politician and national president of the Samajwadi Party who served as the 20th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Having assumed the chief minister's office on 15 March 2012 at the age of 38,he is the youngest person to have held the office till date. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament for Kannauj in the 18th Lok Sabha. He is the parliamentary party leader of Samajwadi Party in 18th Lok Sabha. Earlier,he was elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly for Karhal in the 18th Vidhan Sabha,before resigning and has also been the Leader of Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from March 2022 to June 2024.
Arvinder Singh Lovely is an Indian politician and a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He held the position of president of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee from 2013 to 2015,and again from 2023 to 2024. In 1998,he was elected to the Delhi Legislative Assembly as the youngest MLA from Gandhi Nagar constituency. He was again elected in 2003,2008 &2013. Bhilai is a city in Durg district of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh,in eastern central India. Along with its twin-city Durg,the urban agglomeration of Durg-Bhilai Nagar has a population of more than a million,making it the second-largest urban area in Chhattisgarh after Raipur.
