Devin Sanchez (born October 4, 2006) [1] is an American football cornerback for the North Shore Mustangs where he is currently committed to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Early life

Sanchez attended North Shore Senior High School located in Houston, Texas. [2] During Sanchez's junior season, he notched 32 tackles, 11 pass deflections, five interceptions, and one defensive touchdown. [3] For his performance in his junior season, Sanchez was named to the first-team defense on the 2023 MaxPreps High School Football Junior All-America Team. [4] Coming out of high school, Sanchez was rated as a five-star recruit, the second-overall cornerback, and the sixth overall player in the class of 2025. [5] Sanchez also held offers from schools such as Alabama, Texas A&M, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas and USC. [6] Ultimately, Sanchez committed to play college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. [7] [8] His paternal grandfather was Mexican American. [9]
