Sabine Glacier is a 13.5 km long glacier on the north side of Detroit Plateau, flowing from Mount Bris and Tsarevets Buttress northwards along the east slopes of Korten Ridge, and terminating at the sea in Jordanoff Bay on Davis Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica. Captain Henry Foster gave the name "Cape Sabine" in 1829 to a feature lying southeast of Cape Kater but it has not been possible to identify that cape. This toponym preserves the early use of Sabine in this area. Sir Edward Sabine (1788-1883), English astronomer and geodesist, was a member of the committee which planned the 1829 voyage of Foster in the Chanticleer.
Aitkenhead Glacier is a 10-mile (16 km) long glacier flowing east-southeast from the Detroit Plateau, Graham Land, into Prince Gustav Channel. It was mapped from surveys by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1960–61), and named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Neil Aitkenhead, a FIDS geologist at Hope Bay (1959–60).
The Misery Islands are an 87-acre (350,000 m2) nature reserve established in 1935 in Salem Sound close to the Salem Harbor in Salem, Massachusetts. It is managed by the Trustees of Reservations. The islands are a part of the city of Salem, although they are much closer to the city of Beverly, in whose aquatic territory they lie.

The Borders Abbeys Way is a long-distance footpath in the Scottish Borders area of Scotland. It is a circular walkway and is 109 kilometres (68 mi) in length. The theme of the footpath is the ruined Borders abbeys along its way: Kelso Abbey, Jedburgh Abbey, Melrose Abbey and Dryburgh Abbey. These abbeys were homes to monks, who lived there between the 12th and 16th centuries. The route also passes through the towns of Hawick and Selkirk, and close to Abbotsford House, the home of Sir Walter Scott. Along the Borders Abbeys Way there are several rivers: Jed Water, River Teviot, River Tweed, Ale Water, and Rule Water.
Ogoya Glacier is the 8 km long and 3 km wide glacier on Trinity Peninsula, Antarctic Peninsula. Situated west-northwest of Laclavère Plateau, northwest of Broad Valley and northeast of Sestrimo Glacier. Draining the northeast slopes of Morro del Paso Peak, the north side of Misty Pass and the northwest slopes of Dabnik Peak, and flowing northwards to enter Huon Bay in Bransfield Strait.

Pettus Glacier is a narrow deeply entrenched glacier 9 nautical miles (17 km) long, which flows north from Ebony Wall into Gavin Ice Piedmont between Poynter Hill and Tinsel Dome, Trinity Peninsula. Named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) for Robert N. Pettus, aircraft pilot with Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (FIDASE), 1956–57.

Orleans was a city in Linn County, Oregon, United States. It was established around 1850 and destroyed in the Great Flood of 1862. It was not rebuilt. The city was located across the Willamette River from Corvallis. The Orleans cemetery survived because it was built on high ground at 44.5697°N 123.1913°W.
