Die Firma is a German hip hop group formed in Cologne in 1996. [1] It consists of Tatwaffe (Alexander Trabhoven), Def Benski Obiwahn (Ben Hartung), and Fader Gladiator (Daniel Sluga). To date, they have released six albums. Their second album sold over 80.000 copies in Germany and reached number 8 on the German album charts. They are best known for their 2005 hit "Die Eine" ("The One"), which peaked at number 2 on the German single charts. [2] The band refers to its own style as "lyrics about beats that represent good and evil". [3]

In 2016, Tatwaffe released his second solo album, Sternenklar ("Starlit"), while Fader Gladiator worked with other artists like Lumaraa and Pillath. [4]

Dritte Wahl, also written 3. Wahl is a German punk rock band from Rostock in Germany. Their music is classified as Deutschpunk and displays clear metal influences. Dritte Wahl’s lyrics are in German and are very direct, politically motivated, and left-leaning. As a German punk band, and particularly as a punk band formed in the former East Germany under the communist state, their songs handle common themes. In the song Macht die Augen auf they took on the subject of the 1992 anti-immigrant Rostock-Lichtenhagen riots. In their song Mainzer Straße, Dritte Wahl describe the Battle of Mainzer Straße that took place in East Berlin in 1990 when the city decided to clear the squatted houses. In their song Bad K., Dritte Wahl describe the contested circumstances of the death of Wolfgang Grams, a member of the far-left Red Army Faction.

Rosenstolz was a German pop duo from Berlin that was active between 1991 and 2012 and had chart hits in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The duo consisted of singer AnNa R. and musician Peter Plate, who occasionally provided vocals. Rosenstolz achieved major chart success after the nineties, with five studio albums going to No. 1 in the German albums chart. Although the duo split up to pursue separate music careers, they left open the possibility of a future reunion.
