Die Slaughterhaus Records is a record company based in Atlanta, Georgia, that includes punk rock acts such as Deerhunter, Black Lips, Carbonas, CPC Gangbangs, Frantic, The Coathangers, Die Rotzz, and Hipshakes. Founded in 2001 by Mark Naumann, Die Slaughterhaus began as a venue for punk rock shows, and it quickly became a popular place to see live music in Atlanta. [1]

Skrewdriver were an English punk rock band formed by Ian Stuart Donaldson in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, in 1976. Originally a punk band, Skrewdriver changed into a skinhead rock band after reuniting in the 1980s. Their original line-up split in January 1979 and Donaldson reformed the band with different musicians in 1982. This new version of the band played a leading role in the Rock Against Communism movement.
The Effigies were an American punk band from Chicago. The band played its first show in 1980 and was active initially for approximately a decade, undergoing multiple personnel changes with frontman John Kezdy the only constant, before disbanding in 1990. The band released 5 albums and several EPs, most on the record label they founded in 1981, Ruthless Records, which was distributed by Enigma. Later albums were on the Fever Records and Roadkill Records labels. The 688 Club was a popular alternative music venue in Atlanta, Georgia, located at 688 Spring Street, near the intersection of Spring and 3rd Streets. The 688 Club opened in May 1980 and closed in November 1986. The club was operated by Steve May. The club was co-owned by Tony Evans, John Wicker, and in its final years by Mike Hendry. Cathy Hendrix served as the club's music director. During its brief lifetime, the 688 played host to hundreds of punk rock, new wave and alternative rock bands, many of whom would later become well known.

WrestleMania XXVII was the 27th annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event took place on April 3, 2011 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. The event was the first WrestleMania held in the state of Georgia and the second to be held in Southeastern United States, following WrestleMania XXIV. It was also the final WrestleMania held during the first brand extension, which ended in August, but was reinstated in July 2016. This was also the company's final event to be promoted under the full name of World Wrestling Entertainment, as immediately following this event, the company strictly began to refer to itself by the WWE abbreviation. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson served as the host of the event.

Little Five Fest was amusic festival in Atlanta, Ga. The event partnered with several local venues and featured 50 or so local bands as an annual showcase of the Music of Atlanta. The event started in 2004 as "Othersound Music Festival" and evolved over the years to take on a more general tone representing the entire area of Little 5 Points and as an alternative to the mainstream music festival Music Midtown. The festival focused on local and independent music groups: "Focusing on bands just under the indie mainstream radar, the Other Sound Music Festival has a rich history of booking the right bands.". The festival usually features bands from local label mainstays like Rob's House Records, Die Slaughterhaus Records and ISP-Music among others. While previous festivals focused heavily on rock music, the festival featured a variety of musical genres including Rap, Hip-hop, Country, Electronic Music, DJ sets, performance art and theater.
