Diego Alejandro Tinoco (born November 25, 1997) is an American actor. [1] He is best known for playing Cesar Diaz in Netflix series On My Block . [1] [2] [3]

Early life

Tinoco was born on November 25, 1997, in Anaheim, California. His father is Mexican from Michoacán and his mother Ecuadorian from Colombian descent.

Career

Tinoco debuted as an actor in the 2015 short film, Drizzle of Hope interpreting the role of Marco. [4] In 2016, he appeared in the TV series Teen Wolf as Mateo in season 6, episode 6. [5]

In the 2017 short film, Welcome to Valhalla, he played the character of Diego. [6] Tinoco played the lead role of Cesar Diaz in the Netflix television series, On My Block . [7] [8]

In 2021, Tinoco played the role of Tybalt in the romantic drama film R#J . [9] In 2022, he was announced as part of the cast of the film Knights of the Zodiac , where he played the role as Nero the Phoenix Knight. [10]

In late June 2023, he was named one of the "50 Más Bellos" (50 Most Beautiful) by People en Español Magazine.

V2. Escape from Hell is a 2021 Russian prison action thriller war biopic film directed by Timur Bekmambetov. The film stars Thure Riefenstein, Pavel Priluchny, Pavel Chinarev and Daria Zlatopolskaya. Based on a true story, portions of Soviet Mikhail Devyatayev's autobiography form the basis of a World War II film produced by Bazelevs Company. The film is the first large-scale vertical format film featuring dynamic aerial combat. Mikhail Devyatayev enrolled at the Soviet Air Forces to fight in the Great Patriotic War. In July 1944, while on a sortie for the 1st Ukrainian Front, his plane was shot down and he was captured by the Wehrmacht.
