The Dignity Health Event Center is a multipurpose arena in Bakersfield, California. It opened in December 2009 as the Jam Events Center. It was home to the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League. [1] [2]
The arena regularly seats 500 people but it is expandable to 700. Jam owner Stan Ellis estimated in 2010 that the team is saving $500,000 a season by using the smaller facility rather than the much larger Rabobank Arena for home games. Because of the small seating capacity, no single-game tickets are available for any contest. [3] This was also the team's practice facility.
On August 21, 2012, it was announced that Dignity Health had signed a three-year naming rights deal with the Jam, changing the name to the Dignity Health Event Center effective immediately. [4]

The complex consists of the 27,000-seat Dignity Health Sports Park soccer stadium, the Dignity Health Sports Park tennis stadium, a track-and-field facility, and the VELO Sports Center velodrome. It is approximately 14 miles (23 km) south of downtown Los Angeles, and its primary tenant is the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer (MLS). The main stadium was also home to the Los Angeles Wildcats of the XFL in 2020. The LA Galaxy II of MLS Next Pro play their home matches at the complex's track and field facility. For 2020 and 2021, the stadium served as the temporary home of the San Diego State Aztecs football team.
Climate Pledge Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is located north of Downtown Seattle in the 74-acre (30 ha) entertainment complex known as Seattle Center, the site of the 1962 World's Fair, for which it was originally developed. After opening in 1962, it was subsequently bought and converted by the city of Seattle for entertainment purposes. From 2018 to 2021, the arena underwent a $1.15 billion redevelopment; the renovation preserved the original exterior and roof, which was declared a Seattle Landmark in 2017 and was listed on the Washington Heritage Register as well as the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. The McMurtrey Aquatic Center is a swimming, diving, and recreational facility in the city of Bakersfield, California. It is located near the Mechanics Bank Arena in downtown Bakersfield. The Aquatic Center opened in June 2004. Combined with the Valley Children's Ice Center of Bakersfield, it has a large recreation pool and a heated competition pool, with lifeguards on duty during business hours. The facility hosts activities such as aquatic fitness, diving, lap swim, recreation swim, scuba, water polo, and much more. The facility hosts various local high school swim meets and is used by Bakersfield, California community members for recreational swimming.

The Motor City Cruise are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Detroit, and are affiliated with the Detroit Pistons. The Cruise play their home games at Wayne State Fieldhouse. The franchise began play as the Long Beach Jam in 2003 under the revived American Basketball Association and moved to Bakersfield in the D-League in 2006 as the Bakersfield Jam. After ten years in Bakersfield, California, the franchise was moved to Prescott Valley, Arizona, in 2016 by the Phoenix Suns and were subsequently renamed the Northern Arizona Suns. In 2021, the team relocated to Detroit after being purchased by the Pistons.
