The Diocese of False Bay is a diocese in the Anglican Church of Southern Africa. It was created when the Anglican Diocese of Cape Town was split into three divisions, namely the Diocese of Table Bay, the Diocese of Saldanah Bay and the Diocese of False Bay. The Diocese was officially inaugurated on the first Advent sunday in 2005. It comprises 49 parishes in six archdeaconries.

The Anglican Church of Southern Africa, known until 2006 as the Church of the Province of Southern Africa, is the province of the Anglican Communion in the southern part of Africa. The church has twenty-five dioceses, of which twenty-one are located in South Africa, and one each in Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia and Saint Helena. In South Africa, there are between 3 and 4 million Anglicans out of an estimated population of 45 million.
The Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn is one of the 23 dioceses of the Anglican Church of Australia. The diocese has 60 parishes covering most of south-east New South Wales, the eastern Riverina and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). It stretches from Marulan in the north, from Batemans Bay to Eden on the south coast across to Holbrook in the south-west, north to Wagga Wagga, Temora, Young and Goulburn.
The Anglican Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador is one of seven dioceses of the Ecclesiastical Province of Canada in the Anglican Church of Canada. As of 2012 the diocese had 50,000 members in 81 congregations organised in 35 parishes. The most widely spread parish has thirteen congregations.
The Anglican Diocese of Western Newfoundland is a diocese of the Ecclesiastical Province of Canada of the Anglican Church of Canada. It comprises 77 congregations grouped in 30 parishes in Western Newfoundland, with approximately 17,888 souls. Most parishes are multipoint - with more than two congregations - with only one full-time clergy. As of 2012, the diocese had 20 full-time and over 350 lay ministers. As of 2019, this Diocese allows clergy to officiate same-sex marriages.
The Anglican Church of Papua New Guinea is a province of the Anglican Communion. It was created in 1977 when the Province of Papua New Guinea became independent from the Province of Queensland in the Church of England in Australia following Papua New Guinea's independence in 1975.

The Diocese of Cape Town is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa (ACSA) which presently covers central Cape Town, some of its suburbs and the island of Tristan da Cunha, though in the past it has covered a much larger territory. The Ordinary of the diocese is Archbishop of Cape Town and ex officio Primate and Metropolitan of the ACSA. His seat is St. George's Cathedral in Cape Town.
The Diocese of North Queensland is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Australia, founded in 1879. It is situated in the northern part of the state of Queensland, Australia. As part of the Province of Queensland, it covers the Torres Strait Islands in the north, the entire Cape York Peninsula and the cities of Mount Isa, Cairns, Townsville and Mackay. The diocesan cathedral is St James' Cathedral, Townsville. The Bishop of North Queensland is Keith Ronald Joseph, who was consecrated and installed on 31 March 2019.
The Anglican Diocese of North West Australia is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Australia, founded in 1910. It is situated in the northern part of the state of Western Australia. As part of the Province of Western Australia, it covers those parts of the state north of Perth including Geraldton, Karratha and Broome and is geographically the largest Anglican diocese in Australia and the largest land-based diocese in the world. The diocese has 18 parishes and three Mission to Seafarers’ ministries; the cathedral church of the diocese is the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Geraldton.
The Church in the Province of the West Indies is one of 40 member provinces in the worldwide Anglican Communion. The church comprises eight dioceses spread out over much of the West Indies area. The present position of Archbishop and Primate of the West Indies is held by the current bishop of Jamaica, Howard Gregory. Gregory was elected as the thirteenth Archbishop of the Province by clergy and laity attending the 40th Synod of the CPWI at the Cascadia Hotel, in Port of Spain, Trinidad in May 2019, succeeding John Holder who retired in 2018. Drexel Gomez was the primate before Bishop Holder until 2009. The church is also part of the Global South Fellowship of Anglican Churches.
The Diocese of Algoma is a diocese of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario of the Anglican Church of Canada. It comprises nearly 182,000 square kilometres of the Ontario districts of Algoma, Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Manitoulin, and parts of the districts of Nipissing and Timiskaming. The diocese forms a wide band stretching from just west of Thunder Bay on the northern shore of Lake Superior east to the border of Ontario and Quebec. Neighbouring Anglican dioceses are Rupert's Land to the west, Moosonee to the north, Ottawa to the east, and Ontario, Toronto, Huron to the south.

The Diocese of Down and Dromore is a diocese of the Church of Ireland in the south east of Northern Ireland. It is in the ecclesiastical province of Armagh. The geographical remit of the diocese covers half of the City of Belfast to the east of the River Lagan and the part of County Armagh east of the River Bann and all of County Down.

Margaret Brenda Vertue is a retired South African Anglican bishop. She was the second woman to be elected as a bishop of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa and of the whole African continent, as the diocesan bishop of the Anglican Diocese of False Bay.
The Diocese of Mbhashe is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa situated in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It was established on 16 December 2010 out of part of the Diocese of Mthatha. The cathedral is All Saints Church in Ngcobo while the diocesan office is in Butterworth. The diocese includes the areas of Cala, Cofimvaba, Dutywa, Elliot, Kentani and Tsomo. The first and current bishop is Sebenzile Elliot Williams.
The Diocese of Lagos West is one of the 13 dioceses of the Anglican Province of Lagos, in the Church of Nigeria. It comprises 29 archdeaconries. The diocese's cathedral is Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral, in Ikeja. The diocese was inaugurated at 20 November 1999. The first bishop was the Right Reverend Dr. Peter Awelewa Adebiyi, who served as bishop from the diocese's creation in 2000 until 2013. The current bishop is the Right Reverend Dr. James Odedeji.

Merwyn Edwin Castle was an Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of False Bay. On 5 February 1994, Castle was consecrated as a bishop. On 27 April 2007, he was enthroned as the bishop of the Diocese of False Bay. Upon his retirement, Margaret Vertue was eleceted and consecrated as the new bishop on 19 January 2013. Castle died on 2 August 2021 at the age of 78. He was cremated and his ashes interred under the altar of the All Saints Anglican Church in Somerset West.
