D.R. (Dirk) van der Borg (born 3 November 1955 in Thesinge) is a Dutch politician of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA).
Van der Borg has been acting mayor of Sliedrecht since 31 March 2020. [1] Previously he was acting mayor of Molenlanden from 2019 to 2020, [2] acting mayor of Molenwaard from 2013 to 2018, [3] and mayor of Graafstroom from 2006 to 2012. Graafstroom became part of the new municipality of Molenwaard on 1 January 2013, and Molenwaard of the new municipality of Molenlanden on 1 January 2019.
Van der Borg started his career as a civil servant. He was town clerk of Lopik, Rijssen, and Rijssen-Holten.
Bellingwedde was a municipality with a population of in the province Groningen in the northeast of the Netherlands. Bellingwedde was established in 1968, when the municipalities of Bellingwolde and Wedde had merged. It contained the villages Bellingwolde, Blijham, Oudeschans, Veelerveen, Vriescheloo, and Wedde. After almost 50 year, Bellingwedde was disestablished in 2018, when the municipalities of Bellingwedde and Vlagtwedde had merged into Westerwolde.

Janna Fennechien "Janneke" Snijder-Hazelhoff is a Dutch farmer and politician. As a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy she was an MP from 1999 to 2002 and from 3 June 2003 to 19 September 2012. She focused on matters of agriculture, food safety, biotechnology, infrastructure and natural environment. From 14 November 2013 to 1 January 2018 she was acting mayor of Bellingwedde, and acting mayor of Oldebroek from 9 July 2018 to 3 October 2019.
Molenwaard is a former municipality in the western Netherlands, in the southeastern part of the province of South Holland, and the northwestern part of the region of Alblasserwaard. It was the result of a merger of the municipalities of Graafstroom, Liesveld, and Nieuw-Lekkerland on 1 January 2013. On 1 January 2019 it merged with Giessenlanden, together they form the new municipality of Molenlanden. Molenwaard had about 29,000 inhabitants and an area of about 126 km2 (49 sq mi). The largest settlements are Bleskensgraaf, Groot-Ammers, and Nieuw-Lekkerland.

Leendert Arent-Willem de Lange is a Dutch politician. He has been mayor of Wassenaar since 18 July 2019. Previously he was a member of the House of Representatives for the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, serving from 31 March 2015 to 23 March 2017 and once again from 31 October 2017 to 3 July 2019. De Lange was alderman in Noordwijk between 2006 and 2013 and in Wassenaar between 2013 and 2014 where he also served as deputy mayor.
Molenlanden is a municipality in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. The municipality was created on 1 January 2019 by merging the municipalities of Giessenlanden en Molenwaard. It is located east of Rotterdam along the Lek. The World Heritage site of Kinderdijk is in the gemeente. Its largest population centers are Nieuw-Lekkerland and Giessenburg.

Before being an MP, he served as duoraadslid in the Leiden municipal council and as chair of Christian Democratic Youth Appeal, CDA's youth organization.
