Hot Cross was a post-hardcore band from Philadelphia. They were signed to Hope Division Records and Equal Vision Records. The band was composed of former members of such bands as Saetia, Off Minor, You and I, Neil Perry, The Now and Joshua fit for Battle. Their songs are composed of intricate guitars heavily influenced by Drive Like Jehu. They initially signed with Level Plane in 2003.

Kevin Hays is an American jazz pianist and composer. He began playing in New York while still at high school and led his first record date in 1990. He led a long-standing trio with bassist Doug Weiss and drummer Bill Stewart, and has also sung with his New Day Trio of bassist Rob Jost and drummer Greg Joseph.
Adair was an American rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. The members of the band had performed together in St. Louis for eight years performing under the moniker of Disturbing the Peace before formally changing their name to Adair in 2001. The final five-member band consisted of local St. Louisans; Rob Tweedie as frontman, both Josh Goldenhersh and Patrick Baum on guitar and vocals, Matt Tuttle on drums, and Jeff Meyer on bass guitar. After recording their premiere EP The Permanent Bruise, the band moved to California.
Monochrome is the sixth album by the American alternative metal band Helmet, released in 2006 through Warcon. It is the third Helmet album in a row to be recorded as a three-piece, with new drummer Mike Jost joining veterans Page Hamilton and Chris Traynor. Bassist Jeremy Chatelain, who replaced Frank Bello on the Size Matters tour, rejoined the band for the 2006 Warped Tour in support of Monochrome. The album received a mixed reception upon release.

He was formerly the drummer in St. Louis-based bands Seven, Adair, LucaBrasi and Disturbing the Peace. Mike Jost's brother is Jerry Jost, the guitarist for the St. Louis alternative-ska band, The Urge.
