Divya Gopinath is an Indian actress who works in the Malayalam film industry. In 2016, She made her debut in Malayalam cinema through Kammatipaadam. [1] Divya later played notable roles in Malayalam films including critically acclaimed Ayaal Sassi, [2] Aabhaasam, Virus and Anjaam Pathiraa. [3]

Personal life

Divya was born in Eloor, Kochi. She is an actress who came to the film world from theatre drama and also acted in some short films.She is also a member of Women in Cinema Collective. [4] Divya married to Jubith Namradath director of Aabhaasam. [5] She is graduating from Thrissur School of Drama and Fine Arts and completed her M.Com. from St. Xavier's College for Women, Aluva. [6]

Aabhaasam is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language social satirical film written and directed by Jubith Namradath. The film stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Alencier Ley Lopez, Indrans, and Rima Kallingal.

Ayal Sassi is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Sajin Baabu, produced by Sudhish Pillai and P. Sukumar, and starring Sreenivasan in the lead role, along with Divya, Kochu Preman, S. P. Sreekumar, and Anil Nedumangad. The film's music is composed by Basil C. J., while the screenplay is based on a story written by Sajin Baabu. Ayal Sassi was nominated for the Kerala State Film Award in 2016.
