Divya Thadigol Subbaraju (born 14 August 1995) is an Indian sport shooter from Karnataka. She competes in the ISSF 10 meter air pistol discipline. She became the National Champion in 10m Air Pistol 2022. She was part of the Indian shooting team at the Asian Games, Hangzhou, China and won 2 Silver medals.
Divya hails from Bengaluru and trains under coach Manjunath Patagar. She played basketball initially but shifted to shooting. While training at Bhopal for the National selection trials, Divya met with a freak accident and injured herself. But despite the blurred vision and pain she returned to regular practice and made it to the Indian team for the Cairo event in 2023. [1]
Munkhbayar Dorjsuren is a Mongolian-German sport shooter. She was born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, but moved to Germany and became a German citizen. She is the 1992 Olympic bronze medalist in the Women's 25 metre pistol for Mongolia and the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist in the same event for Germany. She competed in the 25 metre and 10 metre air pistol events.
Shooting competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were originally scheduled from 25 July to 3 August 2020, due to the postponement of the Summer Olympics to 2021, the rescheduled dates were on 24 July to 2 August 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range. She secured a bronze in the women's 10 metre air pistol event, becoming the first female shooter from India to win a medal at any Olympics. Subsequently, she earned another bronze medal in the mixed 10 metre air pistol team event, becoming the first Indian woman to win two medals in a single Olympics.
Saurabh Chaudhary is an Indian sport shooter. He won the gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games in 10 m Air Pistol. He was the youngest Indian gold medalist at the Asian Games. He had earlier won gold medals and set a new junior world record in the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany. He is the only Indian shooter to win a gold medal in ISSF World Championship, ISSF World Cup, Youth Olympic Games, Asian Games and Asian Air Gun Championship. He broke his own world record with a score of 245.5 and claimed gold in Junior Men 10m Air Pistol at 2018 World Championship in Changwon, Korea.
