A Doctor of Science is an applied science doctorate awarded in a number of countries throughout the world. In some countries, a Doctor of Science is the degree used for the standard doctorate in the sciences; elsewhere a Doctor of Science is a "higher doctorate" awarded in recognition of a substantial and sustained contribution to scientific knowledge beyond that required for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Plitvička Jezera is a municipality (općina) in central Croatia, in the eastern part of the Lika-Senj county, that lies in and near the eponymous Plitvice Lakes National Park, bisected by the D1 main road (Zagreb–Split). Kusići was formerly a hamlet of the village Jezera, Teslić, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the collapse and dissolution of Yugoslavia and during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992 to 1995, reportedly all its inhabitants left their homes and moved mostly to Vojvodina, Serbia. Among the reasons for this exodus was the newly established geopolitical order in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The border between the two Bosnian "entities," i.e. the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska, runs through the village Jezera. Jezera's Orthodox Christian Kusići population left their homes; the area's borders have been redrawn and the village is now under the jurisdiction of the Zenica municipality, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Zaovine Lake is an artificial lake in central-west Serbia, on the Tara Mountain. It was created on the Beli Rzav river as a reservoir for the Bajina Bašta II reversible hydro power plant. The lake, with its five bays, have been nicknamed the "Jewel of Tara".

A Doctor of Philosophy is the most common degree at the highest academic level, awarded following a course of study and research. The degree is abbreviated PhD, from the Latin Philosophiae Doctor, pronounced as three separate letters. The abbreviation DPhil, from the English 'Doctor of Philosophy', is used by a small number of British and Commonwealth universities, including Oxford, formerly York, and Sussex, as the abbreviation for degrees from those institutions. PhDs are awarded for programs across the whole breadth of academic fields. Since it is an earned research degree, those studying for a PhD are required to produce original research that expands the boundaries of knowledge, normally in the form of a dissertation, and defend their work before a panel of other experts in the field. The completion of a PhD is typically required for employment as a university professor, researcher, or scientist in many fields.

Lake Ptuj is a reservoir on the Drava River southeast of the town of Ptuj in eastern Slovenia. It is the largest reservoir in Slovenia and was created in 1978 when a dam for the Formin hydroelectric power plant was built on the Drava. It is still used as the reservoir for the power plant, but is also popular for rowing, sailing, and fishing.
The Selangor Islamic University also known as UIS is a private university located in Bandar Seri Putra, Bangi, Selangor. The university was formerly a university college, before upgraded to a full-fledged university on 13 October 2022. The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, had presented the official instrument of the change to Higher Education Ministry secretary-general Abdul Razak Jaafar at Istana Bukit Kayangan. The university moved to its current location in 2000, when the new campus was officially opened by Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

It was created in 1897 at the Höheren Lehranstalt für Obstbau of Geisenheim in the Rheingau by hybridisation of Minister von Hammerstein and Baumanns Renette. It may also be known as 'Geheimrat Doktor Oldenburg', 'Geheimrat Oldenburg', or simply 'Oldenburg'. It is a quite different apple from the older Russian cultivar 'Duchess of Oldenburg', also sometimes known simply as 'Oldenburg'.
Vatreni Poljubac is a Bosnian and Yugoslav hard rock/heavy metal band, formed in 1977 by composer, lyricist, vocalist, guitarist and drummer Milić Vukašinović.
