Domenica is a Greek rock band that was formed in Athens in 1994.
Their first releases included several tracks on compilation albums with various other artists. Their personal debut album, " Άχρηστα Ρολόγια " [1] (Useless clocks), was released in November 1999.
Their next release in April 2002 had the title " Μέσα στη βουή του δρόμου " [2] [3] (In the roar of the street) and the title track became a success.
In March 2004, Domenica had their third release, " Ιστορίες για μικρούς και μεγάλους " [4] [5] (Stories for children and adults), and the song "Λίγη ζωή ακόμη" (Some more life) also became a hit single and received an award.
In 2007, they released " Χίλιες φορές έτσι " [6] [7] (A thousand times that way).
In 2009, they released the album " Λήθη " [8] (Oblivion) and in 2012 a single called 'Μια ματιά σου μπορεί' (A look of you is enough).Domenica have set to music a certain number of poems by Napoleon Lapathiotis and Mitsos Papanikolaou.
In 2018 they released " Perase i ora? " a tribute album for the twenty years in discography.
In August 2021 a new song has digitally released called " Sigrou"
In December 2022 they released "Storgi"
In 2003 Domenica were nominated for and won an Arion Music award for "Best band of entekhno". In April 2005, they were once again nominated for and won the Arion Music award for "Best alternative album". In June 2005, they won the Mad Video Music award for "Best rock video".

Evridiki Theokleous, known mononymously as Evridiki, is a Greek Cypriot singer. She is best known in Europe for representing her home country, Cyprus, in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1992, 1994 and 2007 with the songs Teriazoume, Eimai Anthropos Ki Ego and Comme Ci, Comme Ça, respectively.
Tragoudia Gia Tous Mines is an album by popular Greek artist Eleftheria Arvanitaki and it was released in 1996. It was written and arranged by Dimitris Papadimitriou and the lyrics are poems by Sappho, Maria Polydouri, Kostas Karyotakis, Odysseas Elytis and Michalis Ganas, as well as traditional couplets. It sold over 60,000 copies in Greece and was certified Platinum. The vinyl collector's edition release of the album was in the form of a small record player. The CD album's package and the disk itself featured extensive artwork following mostly a theme on the sky and the constellations.

Ego... Ichografisis 1957 - 1995 is a compilation of recordings by popular Greek singer Marinella, under the EMI series Capitol Original Masters. This album is part of the compilation. The 2-CD set includes 44 recordings from 1957 - 1995 for the Minos EMI Label and covers her early work with Stelios Kazantzidis and her later solo years. It also includes duets with Tolis Voskopoulos, Yiannis Parios and Kostas Spyropoulos. It was released on 26 December 2005 in Greece by Minos EMI.
Panagiotis Stravalexis, also known by his stage names Waze-Taki-TsanTimvorihos, Pedi Thavma, and Taki Tsan; is a Greek music producer, tattoo artist and rapper. He is a founding member of the group Zontanoi Nekroi and a member of the rap duet Tigre Sporakia.
Ivi Adamou is a Greek Cypriot singer. She was born and raised in Agia Napa, Cyprus and currently resides in Alexandroupoli, Greece. Adamou rose to recognition in Greece and Cyprus following her participation in the second season of the Greek version of The X Factor, where she was under the mentorship of Giorgos Theofanous. Right after her elimination from the X Factor, Adamou secured a recording contract with Sony Music Greece. She gained further recognition from her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, where she represented Cyprus with the song "La La Love".
Eleftheria Eleftheriou is a Greek Cypriot singer. She came to prominence through her participation in the second season of the Greek version of The X Factor. Shortly after her elimination, Sony Music Greece signed her and submitted her as a candidate to represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. She was later disqualified from the national final, following the leak of her song onto the internet by an unknown party.

Pavlos Fyssas, also known by his stage name Killah P, was a Greek rapper, notable for his participation and performance in musical projects, as well as for his anti-fascist activism. He toured well-known venues in Athens and throughout Greece. He was murdered on 18 September 2013 by a member of the neo-fascist group Golden Dawn.

Nikos Portokaloglou is a Greek singer-songwriter and lyricist. He started his career in 1980 as a founding member of Fatme. The band's first, self-titled album was released in 1982 and followed up by another five in the same decade, among them Taxidi and Vgenoume apo to tounel. In 1990, Portokaloglou embarked on a solo career, which he continues to pursue. Notable solo albums of his include Ta karavia mou keo, Dipsa, and Brazilero, which are the soundtrack for the eponymous movie. Portokaloglou further scored the films Akropol and Valkanizater. In 2002 he won three Arion awards in the categories "Best Song", "Best Entechno Album" and "Best Movie Soundtrack". He has cooperated with other well-known singers from Greece such as Haris Alexiou, Melina Kana and Eleftheria Arvanitaki.

The 2021 Greece wildfires were multiple wildfires in Greece in August 2021, which killed 3 people, injured at least 20 others and burned dozens of homes, after a historic heatwave for the country, with the highest temperatures reaching 47.1 °C (116.8 °F). Authorities evacuated several villages and towns. According to BBC News, Greece experienced the worst heatwave since 1987. These fires were the worst fires in Greece since the 2007 Greek forest fires which burnt more than double the area of the 2021 fires.
