The Dominica national under-16 basketball team is a national basketball team of Dominica, administered by the Dominica Amateur Basketball Association. [1]
It represents the country in international under-16 (under age 16) basketball competitions.
It appeared at the 2016 CBC U16 Championship.
The EuroLeague, known as the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague for sponsorship reasons, is a European men's professional basketball club competition. The league is widely recognised as the top-tier men's league in Europe. The league consists of 18 teams, of which 16 are given long-term licences and wild cards, making the league a semi-closed league. The league was first organized by FIBA in 1958, subsequently by ULEB in 2000 and then solely the Euroleague Basketball.
FIBA Americas is a zone within FIBA. It is one of FIBA's five continental confederations. FIBA Americas is responsible for the organization and governance of the major international tournaments in the Americas. It has 44 FIBA Federations and is headquartered in Miami, Florida. The current FIBA Americas President is Carol Callan of the United States.

Ranking 23rd in the FIBA World Rankings, Angola is the top team of FIBA Africa, and a regular competitor at the Summer Olympic Games and the FIBA World Cup.
The Russia women's national basketball team is administered by the Russian Basketball Federation. The team has participated in four FIBA Women's World Cups and their best finish has been a silver medal in 1998, 2002 and 2006. In European Women Basketball Championship the Russian team won gold medals in 2003, 2007 and 2011, silver medals in 2001, 2005 and 2009, and bronze in 1995 and 1999. They have participated in five Olympic Games, winning two bronze medals.
Qualifying for the 2009 FIBA Americas Championship the basketball championships for the Americas began on August 12, 2007 at the FIBA CBC Championship for national teams from the Caribbean. Three teams qualified from that tournament to the 2008 Centrobasket, from which four automatic berths are available.

The Hellenic Basketball Federation (HBF) (Greek: Ελληνική Ομοσπονδία Καλαθοσφαίρισης, abbreviated as Ε.Ο.Κ.) is the main basketball governing body for the sport in Greece. It directs and oversees all of the national basketball teams of Greece, including both the junior and senior national teams, of both men and women. From 1969 to 1992, the E.O.K. also solely oversaw the top-tier level men's Greek National Basketball League, before its basic operation was taken over by HEBA, starting with the 1992–93 basketball season.

The Spain national U-16 basketball team represents Spain at the FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship.

They are formed and run by the Turkish Basketball Federation. The team competes at the FIBA U16 European Championship, with the opportunity to qualify for the FIBA Under-17 World Cup.

The event was originally referred to as the FIBA Europe Championship for Cadets.
