Dominique Stater (born 22 January 2001 Miami) is an American windsurfer. She qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics in IQFoil. [1] [2] [3]

Life

She graduated from University of Miami. [4] She competed at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. [5] She won a silver medal at the 2023 Pan American Games, in Women's IQFoil. [6]

She sails with Miami Yacht Club.

Windfoiling is a surface water sport that is the hydrofoiling evolution of windsurfing, as well as typical sailing boats and sailing hydrofoils. It uses similar equipment to windsurfing with a normal or slightly evolved rig on a normal or specialist foil board.

The discipline has similarities to Formula Windsurfing, however a notable difference is that sailors only use one sail. The sail size is 9m2 for the men and 8m2 for the women. The rider has a choice between using a hydrofoil or a conventional 68 cm fin.

Finn Hawkins is a British windsurfer. He won a bronze medal at the 2018 World U21 Sailing Championships in Liepāja and a bronze medal, and Team GB's first, at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires. He was subsequently a nominee for the UK Windsurfing Association's 2018 Windsurfer of the Year.

Eilidh Jane McIntyre is a British former sailor, who won the gold medal alongside Hannah Mills in the 470 event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She won the 2019 470 World Championships, and came second at the 2017 470 World Championships. She finished third at the 2015 470 European Championships, and second at the 2019 and 2021 events, as well as having won multiple Sailing World Cup medals. In 2022, McIntyre was awarded an MBE for services to yachting.
