Donal "Donie" Walsh (born 27 March 1948) is a retired Irish Marathon runner and coach.
Walsh attended Villanova University. [1] He also competed at the 1972 Olympics. [2]
He earned a team silver at the 1979 IAAF World Cross Country Championships and competed in the event nine times. [3]
He is the coach of Lizzie Lee. [4] He has also advised Sonia O'Sullivan. [5]
Paula Jane Radcliffe MBE is a British former long-distance runner. She is a three-time winner of the London Marathon, three-time New York Marathon champion, the 2002 Chicago Marathon winner and the 2005 World Champion in the Marathon from Helsinki. The tournament, consisting of the top 32 and 16 qualifiers, was the first of seven WPBSA ranking events in the 2006/2007 season, preceding the Grand Prix.
