Dora Nirva (b. 1907 [1] ) was a British film producer. She began in the industry as an assistant and production manager, then working in Italy. She worked at British National Films for whom she produced The Street Singer, the first woman to be credited as a producer on a British film. [2] [3] [4]
Nirva later worked for Gaumont British as a production manger. [5] [6] She later purchased films for the BBC.
