Dotts Media House was established in 2014 by Tiwalola Olanubi. [7] [8] [9]

Dotts Media House, also known as DMH, is a media and digital marketing firm offering services such as Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Media Buying, and Government Relations. [10] [11] The firm has collaborated with various brands in Nigeria and Africa, including ChipperCash, Pepsi, HP Nigeria, Jobeco Food, Intel, Netherlands Embassy (Nigeria), Seven Up Bottling Company, Showmax, Pizza Hut, and others. In 2019, Dotts Media House published Nigeria's first Influencer Marketing report (NIMR), a yearly research project examining the state and trends of Influencer Marketing in Nigeria. The report offers insights and recommendations for Influencers, Media professionals, Content Creators, and Enthusiasts. [15] [16] [5] [17] This research work had an impact as it had not been done before in the Nigerian media ecosystem. [12] [8] The NIMR is released annually online and at the Social Media Week Lagos. In March 2020, 2022, and 2023, DottsMediaHouse hosted a session at the SMWLagos called "The Digital Jollof," where copies of the report were shared with attendees. [18] [19] [20] [21]

During the COVID-19 Pandemic in May 2020, Dotts announced the launch of its sister company, Trendupp Africa, a reward-based platform for Influencers and Content Creators. In March 2021, the company announced the birth of Trendupp Awards, Nigeria's first-ever influencers and content creators awards. [22] [23]
