Doug O'Brien (born February 16, 1984) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played five games in the National Hockey League with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
O'Brien was drafted 192nd overall in the 6th round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Lightning. O'Brien played four seasons of major junior hockey for the Hull/Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) before turning professional. In the 2003–04 season with the Olympiques, Doug recorded 63 points in 66 games and was named the league's top defenceman.
O'Brien made his professional debut with the Lightning's affiliate, the Springfield Falcons of the AHL in the 2004–05 season. At the end of the 2005–06 season, O'Brien made his NHL debut with the Lightning, featuring in 5 games.
Unable to secure a place with the Lightning for the 2006–07 season, O'Brien was assigned to the Falcons. On February 27, 2007, O'Brien was traded by the Lightning to the Anaheim Ducks for Joe Rullier he was then sent to affiliate, the Portland Pirates, for the duration of the season. [1]
A free agent upon the 2007–08 season, O'Brien signed with Finnish team Lukko Rauma of the SM-liiga. He returned to North America when he signed with the Rochester Americans of the AHL on September 5, 2008. [2] After playing in 12 games with the Amerks in the 2008–09 season, O'Brien was demoted to their affiliate, the Florida Everblades of the ECHL on November 11, 2009. [3]
O'Brien signed with Czech Republic team, Plzeň of the Czech Extraliga for the 2009–10 season. [4] He joined Sparta Praha the following season before leaving professional hockey in 2011. [5]

Brian Lee is an American former professional ice hockey player. Lee played in the National Hockey League with the Ottawa Senators, who drafted him in the first round, ninth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Originally considered one of the top defensive prospects, Lee had a solid NHL career but arguably did not live up to expectations of the 9th overall draft selection, only playing in 209 career NHL games.
Darren William Rumble is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former professional ice hockey player, presently the Interim Coach of the Ontario Hockey League Owen Sound Attack. Rumble played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Ottawa Senators, St. Louis Blues and Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League, but played most of his career with various minor league teams. In 2003–04 season Rumble spent majority of the season in the NHL, played only 5 games for Tampa Bay. Rumble spent most of the season as a healthy reserve. Tampa Bay Lightning still had his name inscribed on the Stanley Cup even though he did not officially qualify. The following year he played a handful of games for the Lightnings' AHL Affiliate Springfield Falcons before retiring and becoming assistant coach of the team. Rumble later became head coach of the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL), holding the position until January 2010. In 2013, he was assistant coach for the Icelandic National hockey team in the IIHF Hockey World Championship Div.II in Croatia.
Timo Helbling is a Swiss former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National League (NL) for HC Davos, Kloten Flyers, HC Lugano, HC Fribourg-Gottéron, SC Bern, EV Zug, SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, Oulun Kärpät of the Finish Liiga, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). Helbling was originally drafted 162nd overall by the Nashville Predators in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
