Dramanon (short for Dramatist Anonymous) is an English language theatre group that operates out of three cities in India: Manipal, Bangalore and Hyderabad. [1] Dramanon was founded in 1991 at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal. [2] Additional chapters were formed in Bangalore, [1] [3] [4] and Hyderabad.

Dramanon Bangalore has staged productions that include The Original Last Wish Baby, [5] Pizzazz , [6] Alarms and Excursions, [7] Sic , [8] and Elling. [2] [9]

Dramanon Hyderabad productions have included 6, Dramanon's first original play which comprises six short stories. [10] Dramanon Hyderabad performed in the Samahaara Hyderabad Theatre and Short Film Festival 2010. [11]

Dramanon as a group also conducts workshops for the community as well as for the corporate companies with customized training modules. [12]

Kempegowda International Airport is an international airport serving Bangalore, the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka, in the southern part of India. Benny Dayal Indian singer

Benny Dayal is an Indian playback singer. He is a prominent singer in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati and Marathi languages films. He is a member of the band S5 launched by SS Music TV channel. He made his acting debut in the Malayalam movie By The People. The flick was a suspense thriller and all the songs were sung by S5 members and it was during that time when A.R. Rahman noticed him, and took an audition.

Sachin Gupta

Sachin Gupta is an Indian film producer, writer and director. He produces films under Chilsag Motion Pictures and is also an artistic director of Chilsag Chillies Theatre Company. He made his writing and directorial debut with the critically acclaimed film Paranthe Wali Gali (2014). He also shot to fame with Pakhi (2018). Gupta's sojourn into theatre started when he was 12 years old, and to date he has staged more than 100 shows around the world, working as an actor, director and playwright. His award-winning Off Broadway plays include Celebration of Life, Handicapped City, and Kailashnath weds Madhumati. He staged these in New York and in Toronto, Canada for which he got huge appreciation amongst theatre lovers in North America. Sachin Gupta was also the recipient of the Natya Bhushan award in 2012.

M. Visvesvaraya Indian civil engineer, scholar, statesman and Diwan of Mysore

Sir M. (Mokshagundam) VisvesvarayaFASc, more commonly known as Sir MV, was an Indian civil engineer, statesman and the 19th Diwan of Mysore, serving from 1912 to 1919. He pursued his degree from one of the best and the 3rd oldest engineering college in Asia, College of Engineering, Pune. He received India's highest honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1955. He was knighted as a Knight Commander of the British Indian Empire (KCIE) by King George V for his contributions to the public good. His birthday, 15 September, is celebrated as Engineers' Day in India, Sri Lanka and Tanzania in his memory. He was the Chief Engineer of Krishna Raja Sagara dam in the north-west suburb of Mysuru city, and also served as one of the Chief Engineers of the flood protection system for the city of Hyderabad.

Samahaara is an Indian theatre group based in Hyderabad. It was founded by two young theatre personalities, the actor-director Rathna Shekar Reddy and the playwright Anjali Parvati Koda. The group began with touring its maiden production, The Crest of the Peacock, an educational play on mathematics across the twin cities to schools and colleges, staging more than 50 shows. Their play Purushotham-He, the Victim of Spiders and Pressure Cookers written by Anjali Parvati Koda has received critical acclaim. The productions include the original plays, Dominic Wesley, written by Koda and directed by the UK-based Stu Denison, Gregor Samsa, Karna and The Last Wish Baby.Unlucky also directed by Denison, Rabindranath Tagore's Post Office, Woody Allen's God, Athol Fugard's The Island, “Acharya Tartuffe”, Hindi adaptation of Moliere’s controversial play ‘Le Tartuffe’, Edward Albee's Zoo Story. The army courtroom Hindi drama Court Martial by Swadesh Deepak has been performed and toured all over India by the group with Rathna Shekar essaying the role of Bikas Rai and has been cited as "gripping","engrossing and pathbreaking" and powerful. Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest was staged by the group and the actors received positive reviews about their "great comic timing".

Anjali Parvati Koda is a writer-director in Telugu films, acclaimed playwright and the co-founder of Hyderabad's popular theatre group Samahaara along with theatre personality Rathna Shekar Reddy. Her father is filmmaker Mohan Koda and her brother is writer Rahul Koda.

Bangalore Capital of Karnataka, India

Tannery Road Road in Karnataka, India

Tannery Road is located North East in the Bangalore Cantonment, India. It is a 4 km long narrow road with around 700 shops, named after the tanneries of the British India period located at the end of the Road. Tannery Road was officially renamed as Dr B S Ambedkar Road many years back, but it still is referred to by its old name. Tannery Road touches Fraser Town, Richards Town, Giddappa Block, Periyar Nagar and Pillanna Garden. The Tannery Road area is highly populated with a high density. The suburb presents a picture which is a shocking contrast to the hi-tech image of Bangalore. As elections has not brought about any changes, the residents express disillusionment with politicians and politics. Pot-holes and broken pavements are a common feature of Tannery Road, in addition to heavy traffic, water problems, garbage, etc. There is scant respect for traffic rules, and vehicles of all types zoom past in all directions. Residents have to dodge puddles of dirty water and garbage, to move around.

Prithveesh K. Bhat

Prithveesh K. Bhat or Prathvish K. Bhat is an Indian Rubik's Cube speedcuber and mosaic artist. He has set several Rubik's Cube records, including two Guinness World Records namely ′Largest Dual Sided Rubik’s Cube Mosaic′, leading a team of 20 members and ′Most contributions to a Rubik's cube mosaic′, leading a team of 293 people.
