Driekes Hoekstra

Driekes Hoekstra is a folk singer from Breda, Netherlands. On 6 March 2015, he won the finale of the talent show Bloed, Zweet en Tranen ("Blood, Sweat, and Tears") on the Dutch television station SBS6. [1]

"Bloed, zweet en tranen" is a song by André Hazes. It is the fifth track of his 2002 album Strijdlustig, it was released as the b-side to his single "Ik hou van jou" that same year. The song reached the Top 100 in the Netherlands, peaking at number 17. It is one of André Hazes's most popular songs. It was to be the last single that André Hazes would release under his own name, with the following single being his duet with Johnny Logan.

Bloed, zweet & tranen, also known as Blood, Sweat & Tears, is a Dutch biographical film about the late Dutch singer André Hazes. The movie, named after Hazes' song Bloed, zweet en tranen, was directed by Diederick Koopal and released in 2015. Starring actors are Martijn Fischer, Hadewych Minis, Fedja van Huêt, and Matheu Hinzen.

The Netherlands participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 which was held on 24 November 2019 in Gliwice, Poland. Matheu was selected with his song "Dans met Jou". Their entry was selected through the national selection Junior Songfestival 2019.
