Drones & Vapid Ditties is a music DVD by Australian indie rock band Augie March. It was released on 6 September 2004 by BMG Australia. The initials of the words "Drones & Vapid Ditties" spell out the letters "DVD". Described on the back of the case as a "shambles", [1] the DVD contains numerous live performances (including a full set from the 2003 Meredith Music Festival), as well as a collection of all the band's music videos to that date.

Augie March are an Australian indie/pop rock band. Formed in 1996 in Shepparton, Victoria, the band currently consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Glenn Richards, lead guitarist Adam Donovan, bassist Edmondo Ammendola, drummer David Williams, and keyboardist Kiernan Box. Box replaced Rob Dawson, the band's initial piano player, who died in 2001.

The Meredith Music Festival is a three-day outdoor music festival held every December at the "Supernatural Amphitheatre", a natural amphitheatre located on private farmland near the town of Meredith in Victoria, Australia. The Methadones

The Methadones were a band formed in 1993 by guitarist/vocalist Dan Vapid. The Methadones initially lasted only a few shows before Dan put them to the side to focus on his main band Screeching Weasel. By 1999 Dan was no longer a member of Screeching Weasel or his other band The Riverdales, and decided to restart The Methadones with B-Face of The Queers on bass, and Dan Lumley on drums. The band recorded their first album Ill at Ease in 2001. After the recording, B-Face and Lumley left the band. Schafer formed a new lineup of The Methadones with guitarist Mike Byrne, bassist Pete Mittler, and drummer Mike Soucy.

Moo, You Bloody Choir is the third studio album by the Australian indie rock band Augie March. It was released in 2006 in Australia by BMG. It entered the ARIA album charts at #10 and was nominated for Album of the Year at the ARIA Music Awards of 2006, losing to Tea & Sympathy by Bernard Fanning. The album also won the Australian Music Prize in 2006. The title comes directly from the lyrics of "The Honey Month".

The Drones are an Australian rock band, formed in Perth by mainstay lead vocalist and guitarist, Gareth Liddiard in 1997. Fiona Kitschin, his domestic partner, joined on bass guitar and vocals in 2002. Other long term members include Rui Pereira on bass guitar and then lead guitar; Mike Noga on drums, vocals, harmonica and percussion; and Dan Luscombe on lead guitar, vocals and keyboards. Their second album, Wait Long by the River and the Bodies of Your Enemies Will Float By, won the inaugural Australian Music Prize. In October 2010 their third studio album, Gala Mill was listed at No. 21 in the book, 100 Best Australian Albums. Two of their albums have reached the top 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart, I See Seaweed and Feelin Kinda Free. Watch Me Disappear is the fourth studio album from Australian indie rock group Augie March. The album was released on 10 October 2008. The album's title track was made available for download on the band's website on 26 August 2008. Augie March recorded Watch Me Disappear at Neil Finn's Auckland studios with producer Joe Chiccarelli. They also recorded in Melbourne, Sydney, and Los Angeles. The first single, "Pennywhistle", was released digitally on 16 September and physically on 27 September. Watch Me Disappear reached number four on the ARIA Albums Chart.

<i>Drones</i> (Muse album) 2015 studio album by Muse

Drones is the seventh studio album by English rock band Muse, released on 5 June 2015 by Helium-3 and Warner Bros. Records. After their previous albums incorporated orchestral and electronic music, Muse aimed to return to a more straightforward rock sound. The album was recorded between October 2014 and April 2015 at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, and was produced by the band and Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Drones is a concept album following a soldier's abandonment, indoctrination as a "human drone", and eventual defection. In support of its release, the band embarked on the Drones World Tour from 2015 to 2016.
