Counter-terrorism, also known as antiterrorism, incorporates the practice, military tactics, techniques, and strategy that government, military, law enforcement, business, and intelligence agencies use to combat or prevent terrorism. Counter-terrorism strategies include attempts to counter financing of terrorism.
A coast guard or coastguard, is a maritime security organization of a particular country. The term implies widely different responsibilities in different countries, from being a heavily armed military force with customs and security duties to being a volunteer organization tasked with search and rescue functions and lacking any law enforcement powers. However, a typical coast guard's functions are distinct from typical functions of both the navy and a transportation police.
Special Branch is a label customarily used to identify units responsible for matters of national security and intelligence in British and Commonwealth police forces, as well as in Ireland. A Special Branch unit acquires and develops intelligence, usually of a political or sensitive nature, and conducts investigations to protect the State from perceived threats of subversion, particularly terrorism and other extremist political activity.

The master-at-arms (MA) rating is responsible for law enforcement and force protection in the United States Navy—equivalent to the United States Army Military Police, the United States Marine Corps Military Police, the United States Air Force Security Forces, and the United States Coast Guard's Maritime Law Enforcement Specialist. It is one of the oldest ratings in the United States Navy, having been recognized since the inception of the U.S. Navy.
The Royal Bahamas Police Force Band is the official police band of Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF). Also referred to as the RBPF Band, it is the main musical support unit in the one of Bahamas. On special occasions, the RBPF Band can be seen at many state events and performances, such as the Changing of the Guard at the Government House and the Beating Retreat on Bay Street. It has also taken part in many historical events since the country's independence from the United Kingdom in 1973. Events of this nature include leading the funeral procession in honor of former Prime Minister Lynden Pindling in 2000, and the 75th anniversary of the RBPF in 2015. It has also been depicted on the reverse side of the $1 banknote of the Bahamian dollar. Their full uniform is composed of white tunics, navy trousers, and a white, spiked, Pith helmet. The RBPF Band was founded in 1893 with at least 12 NCO's and by the early 1960s, had performed in every major country in the world. It is currently located at the Royal Bahamas Police Force Headquarters on East Street in the capital of Nassau.
