DrumChannel.com, commonly referred to as Drum Channel, is an educational drumming website featuring live an on-demand lessons and shows.

Contents

DrumChannel was founded in 2008 by Don Lombardi, also founder of DW Drums.

Monthly, bi-annual or annual membership plans include unlimited access to content. Select content is available free of charge.

DrumChannel is a producer of DC DVDs, distributed through music retailers worldwide and online (rent or purchase).

DrumChannel studios are located in Oxnard, California.

Faculty

DrumChannel instructors include Neil Peart, Terry Bozzio, Peter Erskine, Gregg Bissonette, Chad Smith, Alex Acuna, Thomas Pridgen, Ralph Humphrey, Joe Porcaro, John "JR" Robinson, Tony Royster, Jr. and many other drummers and percussionists who regularly take part in shows and lessons.

Drummer's Reality Camp

DrumChannel partnered with LAMA College for Music Professionals to co-launch the annual Drummer's Reality Camp in Pasadena, California. Drummer's Reality Camp features clinics, music workshops, instruction, autograph sessions, a musician's round-table and a visit to DW Drums factory tour.

Lucky Lehrer is a drummer from Los Angeles, California associated with several influential LA punk rock bands. He was originally trained in jazz then played in a number of LA punk rock bands, particularly the Circle Jerks, Redd Kross, Bad Religion, Darby Crash Band and LA's Wasted Youth, among others. Lehrer also appeared in three notable documentary films charting the punk rock music scene. He is the brother of LA's Wasted Youth guitarist Chett Lehrer. Lehrer also teaches drums, with notable students being future Bad Religion drummers Pete Finestone and Bobby Schayer. He was an early developer of hardcore punk drumming and he has been called the "Godfather of hardcore drumming". Lehrer was voted the best punk drummer of all-time by fanzine Flipside.

Los Angeles College of Music is a private for-profit music college in Pasadena, in Los Angeles County, California. It has been accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music since 2003. More than 1000 students have graduated from the school, about half of them from outside the United States.

DRUM! is an American educational drumming magazine. It features artist profiles, product reviews, lessons and advanced transcriptions covering rock, pop and related styles of music. The magazine was launched in 1991 with Andy Doerschuk as editor. In the 1990s it gained a reputation for its coverage of younger drummers in contemporary styles such as punk, rap-rock, and metal. It was the first magazine to feature artists such as Tré Cool, Chad Smith, Travis Barker (Blink-182) and others on its covers.

Cool has also played in The Lookouts, Samiam, Dead Mermaids, Bubu and the Brood and the Green Day side projects The Network and the Foxboro Hot Tubs.

Bernard John Dresel Jr. is an American studio drummer and percussionist. He has been with multi-Grammy award-winning artists and recordings; most notably having performed and recorded extensively with The Brian Setzer Orchestra and Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. The BBB Featuring Bernie Dresel has been performing since 2014 in numerous, prominent venues in Los Angeles and has recorded two notable CDs. He has recorded on numerous television shows and close to 60 movie soundtracks to include The Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, The Sopranos, Incredibles 2, The Bourne Supremacy, Cars 2, Up, Super 8, The Mask and Elf.
