Drømmeslottet (English: The Dream Castle) is a 1986 Norwegian drama film written and directed by Petter Vennerød and Svend Wam, starring a large ensemble cast including Lasse Lindtner and Mari Maurstad. The film is part of a trilogy by the directors, where the other two instalments were titled Åpen framtid (1983) and Adjø solidaritet (1985). Three couples who have known each other since early youth decide to move in together, but soon run into difficulties.

Elling is a Norwegian Black comedy film directed by Petter Næss. Shot mostly in and around the Norwegian capital Oslo, the film, which was released in 2001, is primarily based on Ingvar Ambjørnsen's novel Brødre i blodet, one of a series of four featuring the Elling character – the others are Utsikt til paradiset, Fugledansen, and Elsk meg i morgen. The film was followed by an original prequel not based on any of the novels, Mors Elling (2003), and a sequel, Elsk meg i morgen (2005) based on the fourth and last book in the series.

Kon-Tiki is a Norwegian documentary film about the Kon-Tiki expedition led by Norwegian explorer and writer Thor Heyerdahl in 1947, released in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark in 1950, followed by the United States in 1951. The movie, which was directed by Thor Heyerdahl and edited by Olle Nordemar, received the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for 1951 at the 24th Academy Awards. She has also acted in outdoor performances of Ibsen's Peer Gynt, and in several one-woman shows. In film and television she is best known for her roles in Drømmeslottet (1986) and Pilen flyttebyrå. Maurstad took part in the reality show Skal vi danse in 2007.
