Dudley Senanayake College is situated in Park Road Close to Anderson Flats (Colombo 05, Sri Lanka). The school has nearly 2000 students. This school is popular for sports like cricket and rugby. It has a long history as a school but still lacks popularity around Sri Lanka.
In its 39-year history it has produced many graduates including doctors, engineers chemists, teachers and much more. Until the year 2000 it didn't have A/L classes. First A/L batch faced its exam in the year 2000 in Arts steam. All above mentioned science graduates are the students of Dudley Senanayake College until their O/L. Since there were no science A/L they are compelled to go to some other school.
Dudley Senanayake Vidyalaya had a wonderful primary section during latter part of 80s to 2000. It produced many scholars which later became very bright and brilliant students of popular schools of Sri Lankan. This process hid the name of the school and illuminate the names of other schools further.

Houses of the School
Since its origination the names of the houses changed from time to time. Initially it had three houses named Metta, Karuna, Muditha and Upeksha. Then it changed to Gajaba, Vijaya and Parakrama, and then to Hansa, Mayura and Paravi.
Don Stephen Senanayake was a Ceylonese statesman. He was the first Prime Minister of Ceylon having emerged as the leader of the Sri Lankan independence movement that led to the establishment of self-rule in Ceylon. He is considered as the "Father of the Nation".

Dudley Shelton Senanayake 19 June 1911 – 13 April 1973), was a Sri Lankan statesman who served as Prime Minister of Ceylon from 1952 to 1953, in 1960 and from 1965 to 1970 and Leader of the Opposition from 1960 to 1964. Senanayake's tenures as prime minister were associated with democratic socialist policies focused on agricultural and educational reforms with a pro-western alignment.

Prince of Wales' College is a selective entry boys' school situated in Moratuwa, a suburb of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Wickramabahu Central College , founded in 1946, is a Madhya Maha Vidyalaya located in Gampola in Central Province, Sri Lanka. It is a Buddhist school with around 90 teaching staff members and around 1,500 students. It has been a co-educational school for the past 64 years.
D. S. Senanayake College is a boys' primary and secondary national school in Cinnamon Gardens, Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka. It was established on 10 February 1967 under the stewardship of R. I. T. Alles, and was named after the first Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, D. S. Senanayake.
