Dunil Abeydeera (full name Ruchintha Dunilkumara Abeydeera; born 28 September 1984) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He was born in Colombo. He played for the Sinhalese Sports Club, the Singha Sports Club and the Badureliya Sports Club teams in the domestic game and internationally he played for the under-19s in 2003. He was a bowler in 53 first-class matches from the 2005–06 season to 2009–10 and took exactly 100 wickets. He bowled slow left-arm orthodox spin but was a right-handed batsman. His best bowling was 5–20 and his highest score was 47 runs. [1] [2]
Abeydeera made his first-class debut in December 2005 when he played for the Sinhalese in the 2005–06 Premier Trophy against the Lankan Cricket Club. Sinhalese won the title that season. His last match was in January 2011 in the 2010–11 Premier Limited Overs Tournament for the Badureliya Sports Club against the Colombo Cricket Club. [3] [4]
Anhettige Suresh Asanka Perera, known as Suresh Perera, is a former Sri Lankan international cricketer. A right-handed all-rounder, he played three Test and 20 One Day International (ODI) matches for the Sri Lankan national team, with his international career spanning from June 1998 to December 2001.
The Major League Tournament is the main domestic first-class cricket competition in Sri Lanka. It was established in 1938 and has existed under a number of different names. Matches before the 1988–89 season are not considered first-class. Relaunched as the Lakspray Trophy in 1988–89, it was renamed as the P. Saravanamuttu Trophy in 1990–91 and as the Premier Championship in 1998–99. There was a change of format in 2015–16 when it became the Premier League Tournament which was split into Tiers A and B the following year.

He is a right-handed batsman and left-arm slow bowler who plays for Nondescripts Cricket Club. He was born in Moratuwa and attended to St Peter's College, Colombo. In 2019, he became only the second batsman after Arthur Fagg to score double centuries in both innings of any first class match. Perera retired from international cricket in January 2022, having last playing for the national team in 2019.
Kariyawasam Indipalage Charith Asalanka is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer who plays all three formats of the game for the national team and also serves as the vice-captain of the national team in T20I. A left-handed batsman, Asalanka made his international debut for Sri Lanka in June 2021
Yakupiti Gayan Asanka de Silva, known as Gayan de Silva, is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He made his senior competitive debut during the 2008–09 season, playing for the Colombo Cricket Club, and has since spent seasons with Antonians, Nondescripts, and Badureliya Sports Club.

He has played for the Sinhalese Sports Club and the Colts Cricket Club in the domestic game in Sri Lanka and Southern Rangers Cricket Club, Haig Fawkner Cricket Club and Hoppers Crossing Cricket Club in Melbourne. He is a first-class bowler in 22 matches from the 2012–13 season and has taken 24 wickets. He bowls leg break and is a right-handed batsman. His best bowling to date is 5–24 and his highest score is 28 runs.
Geeth Alwis is a former Sri Lankan cricketer. He was born in Colombo. He has played for the Saracens Sports Club, the Ruhuna cricket team, the Sinhalese Sports Club and the Chilaw Marians Cricket Club teams in the domestic game and internationally he did not play. He was an all-rounder in 60 matches from the 2007–08 season to 2013–14. He scored 4,244 runs, completing 6 centuries and his highest score of 219. He took 147 wickets and his best bowling was 6–36. He bowled slow left-arm orthodox spin and was a left-handed batsman.

Burgher Recreation Club replaced Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club, who were relegated from the previous years' tournament, after finishing bottom of the Plate League. Sinhalese Sports Club won the competition.
Shammu Ashan is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He made his List A debut for Sri Lanka A against West Indies A on 27 October 2016. Prior to his List A debut he was part of Sri Lanka's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
The 2015–16 Premier League Tournament was the 28th season of first-class cricket in Sri Lanka's Premier Trophy. It was held between 4 December 2015 and 6 March 2016, with fourteen teams competing. Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club won the competition, their first championship since the 1950–51 season.
The 2017–18 Premier League Tournament was the 30th season of first-class cricket in Sri Lanka's Premier Trophy, with the matches played across three days each in the group stage. Chilaw Marians Cricket Club won the tournament, after finishing unbeaten in the Super Eight section of the competition.
Muthuthanthirige Nuwanidu Keshawa Fernando is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Panadura Sports Club in the 2016–17 Premier League Tournament on 28 December 2016.

Fourteen teams took part in Tier A of the competition, split into two groups of seven. Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club finished in last place in the previous tournament, and were relegated to Tier B for this season. Negombo Cricket Club replaced them for this years' competition after they won the 2017–18 Premier League Tournament Tier B title. Chilaw Marians Cricket Club were the defending champions.
The 2019–20 Premier League Tournament was the 32nd season of first-class cricket in Sri Lanka's Premier Trophy. The tournament started on 31 January 2020 and was originally scheduled to conclude on 12 April 2020. Fourteen teams took part in the competition, split into two groups of seven. Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club were relegated at the end of the previous tournament, with Lankan Cricket Club replacing them in this tournament after they gained promotion from Tier B. Colombo Cricket Club were the defending champions.
