The Toronto Raptors are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Toronto, Ontario. The Raptors compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as a member club of the league's Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. Founded in 1995 as part of the NBA's expansion into Canada, the Raptors are the only Canadian-based team in the league. They play their home games at the Scotiabank Arena.

The club, which is the G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association, plays their home games at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre, replacing the Centre's former basketball tenant, the Mississauga Power of the National Basketball League of Canada. The team also plays occasional home games at the Scotiabank Arena, the home of their parent club. Raptors 905 were the eighth D-League team to be owned by an NBA team and the first to be based outside the United States.
