Dustin Dobravsky (born 21 November 1991) is a German born [1] Canadian rugby union player who plays as a flanker or No8 representing Canada internationally. [2] [3] On 9 October 2019, he was called up to the Canadian squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup as an injury replacement to Mike Sheppard. [4]
Michael John Catt OBE is a South African-born former rugby union player who played for the England national rugby union team. He played professionally for the clubs London Irish and Bath. He earned 75 international caps for England and played in two World Cup Finals, in 2003 and 2007. With his appearance in the October 2007 final, at age 36 years 1 month, he became the oldest ever player to play in a Rugby World Cup final. Since 2008, Catt has coached various rugby teams, and has since 2019 been an assistant coach for the Ireland national rugby team.

The British Columbia Bears are the senior men's representative rugby team for British Columbia. They were originally founded in 2009 to compete in the Americas Rugby Championship against other representative teams from Canada, Argentina, and the United States. In their inaugural season, the Bears went undefeated in round robin play against other Canadian teams falling only to the Argentina Jaguars in the ARC Final. From 2010 to 2018 the Bears participated in the Canadian Rugby Championship, along with the Ontario Blues, The Rock, and the Prairie Wolf Pack. This offshoot of the Americas Rugby Championship saw these teams once again compete in a round robin schedule.

They were founded in 2009 to compete in the Americas Rugby Championship against other representative teams from Canada, Argentina, and the United States. In their inaugural season, the Blues suffered narrow losses against British Columbia and the Wolf Pack before defeating the Rock to advance to the Canadian Final. The Blues would again lose to BC, but defeated the U.S. Selects in the bronze medal match.

The team competed at the IRB Junior World Championship in 2008 and 2009 but were relegated to the IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy for 2010.
