Dwaram Mallikarjun Reddy is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Ramtek Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party [1] He is a former state government contractor. In September, 2014, he resigned from his firm, before filing his nominations as government contractors are debarred from contesting elections. [2] In 2009, Reddy had unsuccessfully contested elections to the same seat representing the Gondwana Gantantra Party. [3]

On 5 January 2016, Reddy and some of his supporters were arrested for ransacking a car at the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation's Rajkamal resort and bar. [4]

Ashish Deshmukh

Ashish Ranjeet Deshmukh is an Indian social worker, activist, philanthropist, and was the member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. In May 2020, he helped the Maharashtra Government by mobilising relief fund of rupees seventy four hundred thousand for combatting the COVID-19 pandemic. He represented the Katol Assembly Constituency. He resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party. Deshmukh is the son of former president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee and former Maharashtra minister Ranjeet Deshmukh. In December 2013, Deshmukh had undertaken an indefinite fast to press for formation of a separate Vidarbha state. He has been consistently involved from the last 25 years in upliftment of people at large from the backward regions of Vidarbha on various crucial political, social and economic issues raised by tribals, dalits, farmers, labourers, women, and youngsters. To name a few-conducting workshops/agitations/water conservation projects for farmers, mass marriages for tribals, free healthcare facilities for the poor, job fairs for the unemployed, anti-tobacco campaigns, de-addiction and cancer treatment, self employment activities for women, as well as providing quality education to children. He has also been greatly instrumental in the promotion of sports, arts, and cultural activities.

Sunil Chhatrapal Kedar is a Cabinet Minister in the Maharashtra government and an Indian politician of Indian National Congress who was born in Nagpur. Sunil Kedar is son of late former Maharashtra minister and pioneer of co-operative movement in Nagpur district, Chhatrapal Kedar. In 1995 Kedar was a Minister in the Maharashtra Government holding portfolios of Ministry of Power and Ministry of Transport. And in 1996 he also held portfolios of ministry of Ports.

Charan Waghmare is a politician who served as a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from 2014 to 2019. He was elected as MLA from the Tumsar Assembly Constituency. He belonged to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In 2012, Waghmare was chairman of finance and works committee of Bhandara Zilla Parishad. In 2014 he was president of Bhandara district BJP.

Ranjeet Deshmukh

'Ranjeet Deshmukh, who has served as the agriculture minister in the Vilasrao Deshmukh cabinet between 1999-2004, had also held other portfolios. He had held the position as state unit president of the party on two occasions was the president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC). He was first elected to the MLA in 1985 from the Savner constituency.

Nagpur Broad Gauge Metro is a commuter rail project planned for the city of Nagpur and extending up to adjacent areas of Wardha, Yavatmal ,Narkhed, Ramtek and Bhandara, Amravati, Wadsa and Chhindwara(also Nagbhid in the near future) in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, India. This project will be executed by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited.
